Our tour guide Sam was exceptional, he has an outstanding demeaner along with a calm and nuanced delivery. His knowledge of the local wines along with his professionalism was very comforting.
However, I feel misled, my guests didn’t receive the experience that I signed up for. In plain English, “Malibu WINERIES Tour” means more than one winery retail store… and “Tour” means exploration. That word leads one to expect that we would experience vineyards, be exposed to the art of viticulture, wine processing, labeling, aging, etc., covering various locations in a number of wineries.
At a mysterious premium price of $449 USD per person, I was expecting an actual “Tour” of growing, fermenting and distillation facilities, along with an opportunity to meet and interact with winery personnel.
Subsequently, I feel as though I was hoodwinked!

We had an amazing experience on the wine tasting tour through Malibu! Sam was our guide and driver and he was very knowledgeable and friendly.
He took us to three wine stops...Summer somewhere (we liked their Rose varieties)...Rosenthal (right by the beach) and Stonehaus for a bottle right before they closed. We liked the wines the best at Summer somewhere. Rosenthal was five different wines.
Sam also shared some interesting tidbits and stories about the wineries and the region. The weather was perfect. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone who loves wine and beauty.

Our guide Chris, was awesome. Very knowledgeable of the area’s history. The wine stops were great. Each of them had their own vibe. We highly recommend this tour and be sure to ask for Chris.

Best wine trip ever! Chris was absolutely amazing as our guide! Your wine tour is not life with out Chris as your guide! He was extremely professional and accommodating to all of our need! The tour at Rosenthal was the biggest highlight! The cheeseboard and wine was unmatched! The tour is worth every penny and you won’t regret it!
