The entire experience was great from the beginning. Booking was easy, a reasonable cancellation policy, and price were totally in line with the service and experience. The staff was so friendly and professional while being welcoming and making everyone feel comfortable. It was my first time on the river so I was a little apprehensive but Danny was amazing and in no time I felt safe and comfortable. The river is lower in August but there were still plenty of splashes and several Level 3 areas. I will definitely be back - hopefully next June!! If you get the chance to go next season, definitely ask for Danny. He's a great guide and very personable. He's kind of cute too!! Thanks everyone at Arkansas River Tours!

Arkansas river tours made it super easy to book and I loved how seamless the checkin process was plus they took care of everything! All I had to do was sit back, relax and enjoy the trip!
Buddy was a great guide explaining the local history of the area and walking us through how we could set up for each rapid for ensure safe and fun travel down the river! :) can’t wait to go try out the advanced river trip next!

We had an awesome trip today with Amanda as our guide. She was knowledgeable of the rapids and was entertaining also.
We highly recommend Arkansas River Tours if you are in the Cotopaxi area.

Our whole experience was great. Easy booking to start was nice. Staff at the Cotopaxi branch were very nice and greeted us quickly. Danny was a great guide and very helpful with all the safety stuff. Steve was a good driver on the curvy road.
Once on the water danny was a great guide. He was even nice enough to throw my youngest son in the river, which made his day!! We had a great time and got to do some extra swimming that the other boats didn't get to do! My oldest son got to guide the boat along the final stretch of the trip.
I would give it more than 5 stars but that's all I coud !!

Our guide was Ethan and he was fantastic! We had a 14 year old and an 8 year old and he engaged them both throughout the ride. He was funny and enthusiastic, pointing out all the rock formations and the names he’d come up with for them. The kids thought it was hilarious (so did everyone else!).
We even got to surf a rapid. None of the other boats in our group got to do that and it was so fun! We all got soaked and had permagrins the whole time. From the safety/education talk from Sarah, to Jose fist bumping everyone and wishing them luck as we got off the bus, to Ethan being a top notch guide, this was one of the best rafting experiences we’ve had (my husband and I have been multiple times before).
To make a teenager smile for the 2 hours we were on the river is an accomplishment. Thanks ART for making our family trip to CO one to remember!

What an amazing experience. 23 miles down the Arkansas river and memories that will last forever. From the minute we arrived until the very end of our trip, everyone was so very nice and helpful. Our guide Danny was excellent. Would absolutely do this again with Arkansas river tours.

This was our first whitewater rafting trip and it was a blast! Brennan was our driver/commander/guide and was outstanding. Our grandson said it was the highlight of our trip to Colorado. We agree. One bit of advice: Pay attention to the safety briefing. They aren't kidding around! So thanks to ART and Brennan for a great day!

First white water rafting and it was AWESOME! Brennan was our guide and he made sure we had a great time. He made the rapids a blast and the rest of the time was full of talking and laughter. I would definitely go again with ART and want Brennan as our guide. Office staff was also very helpful with getting the info I wanted for the trip!

Buddy was fantastic guide & trip was fun. Perfect for families. We’ve done white water rafting but this experience was more geared toward families. We had a frightened mommy, teen, 11 year old & experienced rafter. All had a good time

Our ART Bighorn Sheep Canyon Whitewater Rafting Trip was the highlight of our trip to Colorado! Booking was super easy through their website for a raft and rail package and their info on what to expect/what to bring was spot on. Paula and the other nice lady at the front desk were super helpful with places to visit and eat I. The area. Our biggest highlight was our guide, Ron Jon, he was AWESOME!!!! He is super knowledgeable about rafting and the area, has a great sense of humor, made a great lunch, and was great about making this a super fun trip for my kids. We will definitely be back!!
