Our instructor Taylor was very competent and explained well what to do to stay on that surfboard.
At the same time he was fun and easygoing so we really enjoyed the lesson! Will definitely do that again!

Had a great time learning to surf with Seth experienced and dedicated surfer ! Highly recommend School of Surf. I was a skater growing up and wanted to transition to surfing now I'm hooked !

Jeffrey was an outstanding surf instructor for my 16-year-old son! His teaching style was incredibly instructive and patient, making the entire experience both fun and productive. Jeffrey had the perfect balance of professionalism and encouragement, and he got my son confidently surfing right away. We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to surfing, and we highly recommend Jeffrey to anyone looking to learn!

We did a one hour lesson for our family of 4. Joe and his coworker were great! They got us up an riding the waves. Our lesson was at noon and we were able to keep our boards for the rest of the day. Best part of our trip!

Joe was awesome and got me and my 16 yo up on the waves in no time, and I had never done it before! My son had trouble at first, but Joe quickly switched him out to a wider board and he did great. Thanks to them, I have found a new addiction. Highly recommend the experience!

We had an absolutely terrific surf lesson with Reno. He was so patient and supportive and so positive! My teen age nephew absolutely loved him. We had a three hour lesson which was a perfect amount of time with water and snack breaks (it was hot!). By the end we were getting up pretty constantly. I also felt that Reno had a great eye for safety. Best thing we did all week. I also rented chairs and an umbrella from the surf school which was key to making the day great.

Easy to follow directions, great beginner experience because of the patience and encouragement of instructor! Good time!!
Parking at the pier was a whopping $30! Location was pretty crowded, but lifeguards were good about keeping the water free from swimmers in the surfing area.

We actually did the two hour lesson but this school/lesson was awesome! We had been surfing a couple of times previously but didn’t manage to accomplish much. By the end of this lesson, we were paddling into waves on our own, popping up, and riding them to shore. Ryan was our instructor and was awesome. Super chill, well informed when teaching us to read the waves, and was encouraging and patient with our progression. If you want to learn to surf or just want to try it once as a vacation activity, this is the place to go to.
