First class business. Great information on manatees. Captain Wade & Trish are extremely knowledgeable. They were able to find 3 manatees almost immediately & get our group into the water with them. Given, that this was Memorial Day, it was busy on the river. In the future I wouldn’t choose a holiday weekend to do this . That being said, we were not disappointed & would highly recommend this experience & do it again!

I really can’t say enough about this experience. We had Kelly and Liz on our boat and they were such a fantastic team. They worked well together to give us an amazing experience and keep us safe. I had my 11-year-old son and his best friend with me on this tour, and, they were all so great with them, they gave them lots of tips, information on the area and manatee. We will definitely be back again! 1000000 recommend!

If you’re trying to decide whether you should do the tour, DO THE TOUR! The whole famoly loved the experience (youngest one 4). We saw a number of manatees up close, very close, a baby manatee even came to investigate and nibble on my hands!! Our guide Bri and our captain Bryan were absolutely amazing, very knowledgeable and always knew how to put us in the right spot at the right time. Special shoutout to the best driver Karen as well!

Sara and Kelly were absolutely amazing! My sister and I just went today. They were attentive to the whole group. They provided a lot of knowledge regarding mantees and provided an average expectation of why might occur. We got to see 4 mantees today.

It was my family and I first time swimming with the Manatees and if it wasn't for Rachel, our tour guide, i don't think we would have had a better experience. She was so awesome. She took such good care of my 8 year old who was afraid to get in the water once we found the manatees. She offered to take him back to the boat, and even carried him on her back when we were on land because he left this shoes. Overall great experience and great Captain who made sure we found where the manatees were. Definitely recommend using River Ventures. Great experience from start to finish. Book the early tours, the earlier the better.

My favorite part of the tour was how the leads (captain and dive master) wanted to ensure everyone had a wonderful time and saw manatees. The captain was Kelly, and the dive master was (her name rhymed with banana.
I will be back to swim with the manatees again. I will also ask for the same two leads; they made the tour.

Le tour de 07h00 du matin était parfait, dans un groupe de 6 personnes sur bateau ne pouvant en accueillir beaucoup plus. L équipage maîtrise son sujet et nous a rapidement permis de nager en toute discrétion avec des lamentins. Très belle excursion, simple, respectueuse de la nature et loin des amas de bateaux. Any body of water in Florida can technically have alligators. However, they prefer a quieter, more sheltered environment. The Bay is heavily trafficked with boats, and lots of noise, there are no natural hiding places, and the water is generally colder than they prefer. It is. It at all likely that there will be one anywhere near where you are.
If it is raining what happens to the tour? I am scheduled to go out Monday Morning 6:15 am. Forecast shows rain . What is the policy?

It started raining while we were in the water. As long as there isn't any lightning risk, you will probably go as planned. It was kind of fun swimming in the rain.

The winter months are the best, but they said that they can see them year-round. I have been snorkeling in Florida in both winter and spring and winter was by far clearer water!

We stayed at the Plantation on Crystal River. Nice location and the heated pool and tiki bar were nice places to spend some time at. Also golf course including an executive course are just across the street and part of the resort

The best western had a marina right behind it and I saw manatees everyday at the end of the dock! Definitely recommend!
