We loved Capt Mike. A definite highlight of our week. Can’t wait to come back with warmer temps. First time to Destin after spending many years on the East coast of Florida.

We had a great time with Captain Brandon. I would love to come back and try it in the summer. This is less stress than renting a pontoon. I would highly recommend

Captain AL was funny and helpful. Full of information, catered to the guest on the cruise/ride. Definitely booking this and Captain AL again!

We had an absolute blast!! It was kind of cold and windy the day we went out, but we didn't even care by the end of our trip. Captain John was amazing! So accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun activity! There was another group of 2 and a solo traveler on our tiki and the 5 of us had a great afternoon. Just book the trip. It's worth it!

If you are afraid of 🦀 not to worry we didn't see any. However, we had a lot of fun and Josh was a super awesome Tiki Boat captain. You bring your drinks (and food if ya want) and they ice them down in an icebox. They also had cups. Connect to their Bluetooth to play your own jams if you want. Thye have floats and fun games to play when you get out there. A ton of fun even though the water was chilly! These guys are awesome.

Loved the tiki boat and Crab Island! Would not recommend Brandon as Captain. He was on his phone most of the time and did not engage in conversation unless spoken to. Loved walking around in the water and talking with people from the other tiki boat.

Sorry to hear that this was your experience. Capt Brandon is one of our customer's favorite captains, check out all his other reviews! He even arranged to get you a private charter experience where technically we should be billing you for it. It was his choice to give that to you out of the kindness of his heart. Not sure there would possibly be anything that could make you happy.

We loved the atmosphere and great service given by Captain Murray! It was only 2 of us so we got to meet new people that just wanted to have fun like us. It was hard to find individual tickets so this is perfect if you have a small group. The tiki boat is a bar on the water so the Captain provided ice, a cooler and even brought out drinks to us on the water in buckets. Floatation devices were provided for out comfort. It was such a great time to be able to enjoy Crab Island with amazing service and company. We would totally do it again when we come back!

Sam is an awesome guide. She had a variety of music though she gave us the offer to choose .. the ride was smooth and she allowed us time to enjoy Crab Island with my husband with the availability of games and relaxation. Great option.

Must do when in Destin, FL
Request Captain Al. He has so much knowledge of Destin if looking for recommendations. Also lots of experience on the water. He makes for a fun, enjoyable, safe trip! So relaxing and beautiful! He will take pictures and is so willing to do what it takes for a memorable trip.

Our captain actually caught a crab for us there. So there are a few. It’s actually named Crab Island because the first aerial view of the 71 acres looked like a crab.
Is there space on the tiki boat to store your personal items?

Yes! They have hooks under the bar for purses/bags (like at a regular bar on shore) but can also leave your belongs on the bar chairs or on the floor. They have coolers with ice for you to store your drinks in for you if you chose to

Only 6 passengers are allowed per tiki. But all the tikis anchor very close together, so all could still enjoy their time on crab island together. The boat ride to and from the dock is about 15 mins each way.
My husband an I are interested is visiting crab island a day during the week of July 23-30. What's the best time to book? We'd like to experience this when the water is the clearest.

I agree, probably contact the company to make sure. But I would think so. They ask you remain seated in the beginning and at docking...but otherwise can stand up. That being said, crab island is definitely party scene...just heads up!
