What a great time. Flew from ORD to DTW (you can choose). About as real as it can get.

Thanks, Peter, for an amazing experience for our future pilot! We highly recommend! The space sim was also out of this world and was exited to hear all about it from our ‘little’ explorer.

This is my second year to visit the Sim Center of Tampa Bay. What an adventure! Both this year and last, I scheduled to experience the simulation of flying the B737. Again, I was amazed at the realistic and accuracy of the B737 flight deck and the very realistic simulated flight from push back from the gate, the engine start and pre takeoff procedures, the takeoff, to climb out, the simulated in route flight path, the descent to landing and arrival at the destination gate. As a pilot myself, who always envisioned flying the “big iron,” the B737, it was as near to realistic as it gets. My flight was conducted under the direction and instruction of Mr. Peter Repak, the owner/operator/ instructor of the B737 simulator. I would highly recommend the Sim Center of Tampa Bay, not only for the 737 experience, but other equally great experiences as well. Their location at 2674 Bayshore Blvd, Dunedin, Fl. is easy to find and well worth your time.

Start with the Boeing 737 Flight Simulator experience. This is by far the most educating and fun experience you can ever try. The whole thing is based on the real flight process from when you sit in the pilot cabin and until you land the plane. The owner of this place, Peter, who built this simulator himself over 22 years and who is a great pilot, will teach you/your kid to fly the plane. You/your kid will learn lots of new things you never knew existed in the most fun way. Peter has a great positive energy that makes the virtual flight process unforgettable. My son also tried the Fighter Jet and Formula 1 racing, both were excellent too.

It was the real deal. Had such a good time I am planning another trip from Ky to Tampa primarily so I can fly the sim again. After a few more flights I’ll put in my application with Southwest LOL. Seriously though, if you ever wondered what it would be like to sit up front on the airliner then I highly recommend.

At the end of a brilliant 3 week road trip we stumbled across this place. What a find. If you are interested in flight this is a must go to. I have been to Orlando, Kennedy space centre and lots more and this was the highlight by far.
If you are scared of flying. You have to go. Cured my wife’s fear of the upcoming flight home. Absolutely brilliant

We recently did the 737 simulator and can't recommend this enough. Peter and his son are friendly, knowledgable and will customize your visit based on your experience. They are a small, local business that is works super hard to give you a great experience. The 737 simulator (which they built from scratch!!!) is as real as it gets without going to work for an airline. Trust me, if you have ANY interest in aviation, this is the place to go. If cost is a concern, set that aside because it is worth every penny. Can't wait to go back and try some of there other VR simulators and to get better at landing a 737! Don't wait, book a trip there now.

If you have ever wanted to know what’s going on up front on your airline flight, or have a real interest in airline operations, this is a VERY realistic (although no motion) experience.
Several other reviewers have mentioned the fact that the instructor and autopilot do most of the flying, and I can’t argue with that, but that is pretty much how it works in real life. You are not going to understand all the systems and switches in an hour, so a lot is done for you. That said, the realism is spot on.
This isn’t a fly yourself all over the sky adventure, but airliners don’t work that way.
Good news is, they have options for you. Two fighter jet sims where you can literally fly through the Grand Canyon, below the rim at 300 knots, or race against a number of opponents on an F1 track.
Friends or family are able to watch as you operate any of the sims. The staff is friendly and the owner a very impressive guy who knows his stuff.
Highly recommend, unless you just want an arcade type ride.

The setup for the 737 is quite stunning and I enjoyed sitting in a cockpit but the truth is the simulator is very realistic which means you can’t pilot it if you don’t have experience. The co-pilot (the owner) or the autopilot do most of the piloting and the instruction is very fast and intense. Upon arrival I was asked earnestly if I was a pilot and that was kind of a sign.
There are some more approachable experiences here. I would have liked to try the F-35 but I think that driving simulators would be cool. I’m not into video games but experiences like this seem worthwhile at least on paper.
I just think people interested in the 737 should be warned it’s not for inexperienced people and they should consider alternative options.
