We booked the Bimini Day Trip.
There were a few issues, firstly I was advised that I could pay cash or card to the driver, so when the driver showed up at like 6am, I said I'll pay by card, the driver basically lost his mind and said no you have to pay cash, I can't take card, luckily my hotel has an atm in there. The driver was just very angry in general and spoke to everyone like they were children.
The check in at the cruise terminal was easy, no issues there. On board theres little cafes and a mini duty free which is nice. The only thing about the ferry is the immigration check that comes with it. We were waiting at least 30 minutes to get on to the island and then on the way back arriving into fort Lauderdale, immigration took forever, we were waiting on the ferry for around 45 minutes and then when we got off there were only 2 border security checking passports and there were hundreds of people, so my advice would be to rush to the front of the ferry door when getting off so you can get through immigration quicker. When getting off in Bimini, its good because they have these free train shuttles things that take you to the resort.
I was advised that I wouldn't need a resort pass to use the resort as I'm just going to the beach and able to use the facilities like toilets and restaurants, well....I went in to this resort and they said no I have to purchase a resort pass so that cost around $65 for 2 people.
But all in all its a beautiful island and well worth a visit. Obviously if you don't go to the resort theres plenty of other beach just to go on.

I took the trip to Bimini in the Bahamas, from Miami I took the Balearia fast ship. Cost $330. The island is small but we had to rent a golf cart which cost $100. We went to see the beautiful Caribbean beaches of this place, the little bars on the beach and a nice restaurant with fresh fish which I will review separately! It's really worth it! Go there! Bring cash

Try to book this online on their website, WHICH IS A TERRIBLE SITE! So I emailed them - in English ... Received the reply in another language 😵💫. Then called 3 times to only get an automated answering, left a message to never get a response! I live too far away to come there for horrible customer service

I’m not sure where to start…I’ll start with a positive. The check-in process was a breeze except for the agent insulting the previous guest they checked in.
The embarkation and disembarkation was horrible and boardered disrespectful. There was no order or organization getting on and off the vessel.
The ride to our destination (Bimini) was very crowded. Between the water from the A/C vent leaking on my Husband, the horrible food, the kids running around and the volume, it was a LONG ride.
The voyage back was so much better and almost redeemed our earlier experience (the reason for 2 stars) until we got back to the port. They had one Border Agent for hundreds of guest both US and Non-US Citizens. Thank goodness that we were one of the first in line. However, it took over an hour to get through the process. We were to return at 9:00 but didn’t get out the terminal until 11:30. I felt so bad for those at the back of the lines. It had to be an early morning for them as it had to be another several hours before they got through the lines.
This is not an excursion that I could recommend.

Hello, Thank you for choosing Admiral Tours MIami, we apologize for your mis unfortunate on your trip, we always value our costumer's, Unfortunately it is out of our hands that the lines coming back from Bimini were long, also for border patrol line on the way back , maybe you went in a seasonal time and that is the reason for the ferry being crowded and the long wait at the passport control. i hope i was able to respond to some of your answers. Bimini its self is AMAZING! However we told to get to ferry at 7am that doors close at 8 am and we leave at 9am. We didn’t start boarding until after 8am. From there is was so so. We did purchase golf cart while onboad to make it easy. Yes it did make it easy however company said we needed to have it back by 430. We did. Boat was gonna be there around 530 or 6 so we figured whatever. 730…..boat FINALLY shows up. Not one employee gave us updated before hand as we all sat around wondering cooking in the sun. We finally get to Florida and dock at 11pm. Then we sit for another 30mins for who knows what reason. By now people are getting very angry. Finally off boat but oh wait gotta go through customs. By now NO one is working. Took forever 2 customs for over 400 hundred people. Id fly not worth sitting on a boat and or waiting on a boat to pick u up. Over 20 hrs Finally back to room at 12:30am

Do not do the day cruise. We spent more hours on the fast ferry (7 hours total) than on the island (3 hours). Next time we will do 2-3 days. It was a horrible experience. We got to the port to check in at 7:30am and made it back to the port and through customs at 9:40pm. All for 3 hours on the island. Never again.

We are on our way to port. The guy who called himself owner of the tour was super rude and unprofessional. We were in car with 4 more people (Italians) The guy who called himself the owner was talking Spanish and the passengers brought to his attention that we don’t understand his language! He asked us where are we from and when he made sure we are Americans told us to come down and use the bus. When i asked why are we supposed to use bus while we want to sit in comfortable car he said we should. I asked why the other people arent using bus and they are staying. He got frustrated and yelled at us. My husband interfered to make him calm down. He is brunette Persian guy and it seems the manager didnt like it and He called us “ F-ing A-holes”. He was racist and had no idea about basic customer services whatsoever!! Instead of listening and understanding the issue first, then resolving it, he kept yelling “you’ll get to the port”!! There is no privilege in this country! The bus was packed, with no air conditioning, and smelled horrible. There is no doubt that we werent going to sit there!
His attitude wasnt acceptable. Definitely, i’ll follow up on his behavior when ill come back from trip! Bad start… Horrible experience!

El personal de la isla no cuida nada el turismo. Te intentan engañar cada vez que pueden. Suben los precios de un día para otro. No dan ticket de ninguna compra, y si lo pides se molestan.
No es que no sean simpáticos, es que son francamente desagradables. Te hacen esperar sin dar explicaciones.
La comida no es buena, y una cerveza cuesta entre 8 y 10 dólares. En la mayoría de los sitios no aceptan tarjeta.
Alquilas un buggie de golf y te lo dan con el depósito menos de medio después de asegurar que estaba lleno (comprobarlo siempre en Bimini). El precio del buceo y de los barcos lo cambian cuando les da la gana.
Hay que regatear siempre, hasta en el supermercado te suben una cerveza coronita de 2,75 dolar a 3 dólar al día siguiente,y cuando se lo dices, ni contestan...
Sólo una excepción, que es el hotel Hilton y las casitas/condominios de alrededor que si son profesionales y cuidan el turismo, además comer allí cuesta más barato que en una choza llena de moscas y con nula higiene.
Vamos que no pienso volver. Que pena porque el sitio es bonito pero de verdad que no merece la pena, en vez de estar unos días disfrutando, tienes que estar pendiente todo el tiempo de que no te engañen

The day trip was amazing .. just to get away and relax in crystal clear water .. only down side was the jelly fish .. never swam in water before where the jellyfish were more abundant then the people :/ people were literally catching them and throwing them .. outside of that … I loved it .. nice romantic get away
