If you’re looking for an educational tour with some physicality and a beautiful backdrop then look no further than Florida Adventures and Rental. Our guide Matt took us on an epic adventure through the Everglades while on kayaks. His knowledge on all things wildlife, nature and the environment was mind blowing at times. He was also full of energy, patient with children and professional. In the words of our ten year old, the tour with Matt was “off the charts”. No need to hesitate on booking this tour.

An awesome family adventure! We were able to book a boat for our family on a day’s notice and tour the mangroves. We saw dolphins up close, beautiful birds, and enjoyed shelling and swimming on an uninhabited island. Kathleen and Colleen were great guides and took questions from all of us about the local ecology. Highly recommend!!!

Die Tour war das Highlight unser Reise. Tourguide Mat war extrem freundlich,er weiß wirklich alles über die Tiere und Pflanzen dort, das war beeindruckend. Die Tour dauert 2 Stunden,wir könnten große Muscheln mit Schnecken in der Hand halten sowie einen Seestern. Wirklich großes Lob an Mat,er hat es perfekt gemacht,für uns unvergesslich

Our family of four took the afternoon tour with our 9 year old and 12 year old. We rented two tandem kayaks with Elliot as our guide. Elliot was very informative and patient, I was rowing with our 9 year old and sometimes we were a bit slow 🙂
If you’re looking for a way to get close to nature and learn about this part of Florida, highly recommend. You will enjoy the serenity and learning, especially if you get to see one of the bat fish.

The Mangrove kayak tour was great! Our guides Elliot and Mat were extremely knowledgable of the Florida Mangrove ecosystem and passionate in sharing their wealth of information with us. They made it hands-on whenever they could, searching the water for interesting animals and mollusks. The tide was in so we were lucky to see some dolphins playing close by on our tour day.
The kayaks are stable and have nice back supports. The tour is two hours with lots and lots of paddling...at least on our date because the current was quite strong. We brought bug spray but didn't need it. We had originally thought of renting kayaks and going out on our own...would definitely not recommend this. I think you could easily find yourself wandering in circles, and without an experienced guide, the treasures of the mangroves would be passed by unknowingly. Highly recommend this tour from Florida Adventure Tours!!

This was a terrific trip. Our guides, Elliot and Matt, were outstanding - really knowledgeable and really fun to spend time with. We learned a lot about the South Florida ecosystem and wildlife too. Highly recommended.

We were a family of six adults, two in each canoe. Canoeing through the mangroves was quite an adventure and tricky. Overall, we did have a great time!!

Guide was extremely knowledgeable [zoologist specializing in reptiles] and entertaining. did really well with our 4 and 6 year old who were actually participating for the entire 2 hours without complaining. Would definitely recommend.
