An authentic cooking experience in the heart of Toscana

The friendly and warm welcome we received from the family of Antonietta was an icing to the sumptuous Tuscan cuisine she taught and help us prepared.

Antonietta is amazing!

In early March we spent an evening with Antonietta, her husband and her neighbor who acts as a translator. We came for the evening session and learned how to make pasta from scratch with home made sauce and bruschetta 4 ways. It was just my husband, son and I and we had so much fun learning about traditional cooking with Antonietta. When we cam home we repeated the recipes with friends and they were almost as good as hers. She is a great teacher. What a wonderful way to enjoy an evening in Lucca.

A must do

We so enjoyed our time - unique experience. The villa was adorable. Our host did not speak english, but had translator. The only negative was that we had to find our own transportation to the villa which is about a 17 mile drive from the center of Lucca.
