We had a great time on our bus tour, the tour guide really made it a unique experience. They do a great job of picking the breweries out to stop at, and it is so enjoyable hopping between them on the barrel bus.

Our tour was led by Ted and Denise, they were so sweet and full of info! The Barrel Bus is such a clever and fun way to see a great selection of breweries in Chicago. Would definitely go again or recommend to others!!

What a fun time! Highly recommend going on the tour, Ted and Denise were excellent hosts! Great time visiting differnt breweries across Chicago and meeting people from all over!

David and the entire team at The Barrel Run are absolutely amazing partners to work with. And I use the word partner on purpose. I worked with David on a large group for a corporate event and he not only replied to emails almost immediately, but he truly spent time and effort on making our experience the best it could be. From mapping out our itinerary to the minute, to accommodating us for a fast lunch, to even throwing in a surprise final stop to a local donut shop!! You do not get a better experience than this! And not only is he wonderful to work with - the busses are absolutely amazingly cool and everyone had an awesome time. I highly recommend adding this to any Chicago trip you have planned! Whether for work, or for fun!!

We had a great time on the brewery tour - thought it would be a fun way to visit with friends and try some different beers. Totally met and exceeded expectations, the Barrel bus was a really fun way to get around and our tour guide was great.

It was actually a lot of fun ,tried so many different beers. We visited 3 breweries, an saw the city as we traveled to each different location. Our guide Ted was awesome, he is also a beer drinker which was greatly appreciated, he had many recommendations. Definitely will do again!

I chose the Barrel Run for a private event. We did the gangster theme brewery tour. It was a blast! The owner and staff were friendly, helpful and nice. They helped the celebration be a success. Everyone who participated were so impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. So much fun and a very different experience. I highly recommend doing this either as a private event or public event. You won't regret it.

We visited 3 breweries and toured one of them. The guides were nice and we had good samples at each location. I would love to do this again!

The bus is seating and the drop off is literally at the door of the breweries you might visit and once inside you can have a seat, Depending on what brewery you visit, there should always be a chair, if you need one.

I am curious as to whether there is any food involved . I am a bit concerned about an afternoon of drinking ~ if there is no access to food of any kind !

You can always stop a grab a Chicago hot dog or slice of pizza if arranged prior to tour. THey do bring a cooler with ice on board for your use. We did bring soft drinks and snacks for our tour.
