I booked a package to be picked up in Kochi to go to Munnar and do the Kolukkumalai sunrise walk. It was a great experience: my driver was great, very knowledgeable (and a good photographer): he would suggest certain sights and shops on the way from Kochi to Munnar, making the long drive fun and entertaining. Kolukkumalai at sunrise is gorgeous! And the tent stay was fun as well (pack warm nightwear!) - and the food delicious!

I am really grateful to have such an amazing tent stay at Kolukkumalai tent camp. Due to the pandemic I was unable to travel since 8 months and I want to be isolated for a few days to get rid of all the frustrations.
The person called Niju responded to all my inquiries and his support was ravishing. The destination is a bit untrodden and hill area and needs permission from Forest Department to enter. My trip was in a jeep. The predominant attrations are Sunrise and Sunset.
