We went with Cape Ann Whale Watch October 2022 (the choice only went back to Dec 2022). It was a lot of fun and we saw two whales on the sailing. It was amazing the guides knew which whales they were just by their markings. The weather was overcast, foggy, and cool but we had a good time anyway. The crew were great! I highly recommend this company.

We literally flew up from florida to boston and drove to gloucester just to take this tour.
It was worth it. They promised us we would see whales, and we saw whales.

We took this trip while on holiday in Boston recently. It was a beautiful day on the water with knowledgeable guides and a loudspeaker narration when whales were spotted so we knew what we were looking at. It was an amazing experience, we had to travel quite a way to get to their feeding grounds but we saw so many whales! It was an incredible day and a memory we will cherish forever.

Best whale watching tour yet. Took us out to the perfect spot to see whales and we did. Got close up and was able to see them dive and blow too

The Cape Ann team did a great job on October 28th where we had a beautiful day. The whales were super active and we watched the sun set on one side of the boat and the moon rise on the other side as we cruised along our magical coast of Massachusetts. The staff kept us all engaged and aware of the beauty surrounding us throughout.

The knowledge and enthusiasm of the onboard staff made this whale watching trip enjoyable and informative. The humpbacks put on a spectacular show. The ship itself was comfortable. Crew members were very helpful in accommodating my wife's limited mobility. I would heartily recommend Cape Ann whale watch out of Gloucester, Maine.

Beautiful day out on the water. The tour guide and captain provided everyone with enriched information regarding the life of the whales and multiple opportunities to capture pictures. This was the highlight of our trip to Cape Ann.

As others have stated, a large lot is on site for parking, about an hour travel each way to the whales, with about an hour observing once there. A "three hour tour", but this is definitely NOT the minnow! I've never been disappointed....

I've gone as late as late October and seen some beautiful whales. They seem to be even more active this year, but I've never been disappointed. The temperatures can run 20 degrees lower on the water, so dress accordingly. And yes, rain or shine unless there is dangerous lightening. Whales don't care if it rains, they're already wet! Haha
