Great information & a beautiful ride! People on the street oggled over the Model A and wanted to know more about it. Driver, Mark, a life long resident, was very personable and had a wealth of information.

I learned of the Private Antique Touring Company when I was trying to find a way to explore some local sites. My family and I took the Belle Isle tour in the 1931 Ford Model A "Jack" with our guide Mark and his wealth of knowledge about all things Detroit. We couldn't have been happier with his folksy and often humorous narrated gems about Detroit's past and present. It was a delightful way to spend a couple of hours learning about the city and relaxing in a beautiful classic Ford, I will definitely recommend this adventure to other family and friends and hope to book another tour very soon.

The most positive thing was that we were together as a family on a beautiful summer day. The tour was nice and long, but honestly stopping in shady Detroit areas with abandoned buildings while the tour guide rambled on was unnerving. The history was hard to comprehend when it was occasionally mentioned. The vehicle was a small wood “bus” with open sides and a roof, if you have any kind of mobility or movement issues, it would be difficult to move. The tour guide mostly talked about one architect and very little history. The itinerary was not followed. We will not go again. It was poor quality for the price.

Had an amazing time today on the tour of Belle Isle. I got this experience for my wife for her birthday and she really enjoyed it. We had a great time and dozens of people have seen our pictures and asked us about the tour commenting about how fun and interesting it looked. We had a blast! It was a unique experience and a fantastic way to spend an evening. Tour guide John was fun full of knowledge. My wife had a great time and we all learned a lot (and 2 of us were born in Detroit and have lived in the suburbs our whole lives). If you like history, or cars, or fun and unique experiences you will enjoy this tour.

It was a wonderful ride in a 1930 Ford model A. We enjoyed the ride. Many sites to see. A lot of well wishers as we cruised by and have them a honk of the old fashioned horn.

I highly recommend this tour,we did this tour 2 days ago with me ,my husband and another couple friends,we enjoyed the ride,the guide/driver Lisa was very nice and did an excellent job,she took our pictures too,we had fun riding in this Ford A,if you book this tour you will never regret I promise

I booked the tour of Belle Isle as a surprise for my boyfriend's 60th birthday, and Lisa and her crew went above and beyond to make it an awesome experience for us. She even hung a sign and streamers on the back of the car to make it extra-special. Our tour guide, John, was amazing, and we learned so many interesting facts about the city and the island that we didn't know. We highly recommend this tour!

My wife and I and our two adult children took this tour which consisted of a driving tour from the museum where the tour company is housed through Detroit on to Belle Isle and around Belle isle. We rode in a Ford Model A convertible which is what is called a Touring model. Our tour guide used a wireless microphone, which transmitted to receivers and earbuds that we all wore. We could hear him great throughout the entire tour. He was very knowledgeable adding information and anecdotes about different locations along the way. He shared things with us that he couldn't verify were true but were stories or legends, but they were entertaining with it all, whether they were true or not. We got to see all the major sites at Belle isle. We got out and walked around at a few. He was very considerate for our questions and was a very good tour guide. I highly recommend this unique experience. Not too many people can say they've driven around Detroit in a Model A or that they toured Belle Isle in a Model A!. Definitely don't miss this!

Very little to none. You stop to walk around the fountain but you would not have to get out to enjoy it. The tour is about 2-2.5 hours.

Since it says maximum number of 4. And transportation is part of the cost can pick up and drop off be at Aloft hotel? Two people to book at 12:30 on August 14.
