The trip was amazing and a beautiful sunset. I would have liked to know more history of the islands and pointing out the names of the islands and their history on the trip out to the sunset.

Knowledgeable guide about the straits and bridge. About an hour ride. Riding under bridge. Lots of photo opportunities.

I am very surprised to see some of the poor reviews for Ugly Annes. We had a wonderful experience. My husband and I came up for our wedding anniversary and purchased tickets for the sunset cruise. I hid the details of this cruise from him because I knew how excited he would be to see we actually went under the bridge. He was like a kid in a candy shop taking pictures and smiling from ear to ear. He said it was the highlight of our trip to Mackinaw. I too thought it was quite amazing. The staff were very friendly and warm. The office lady told us when we arrived early where we could take a walk to get nice pictures of the bridge. It did not disappoint. I recommend Ugly Annes to anyone. We even waved as we passed them by while driving the bridge the next afternoon. If you are in town and looking for a very decently priced activity, chose Ugly Annes!

What a great experience! Absolutely worth the money. The crew was amazing, the views were breath-taking, and safety was taken seriously. We will absolutely be booking another cruise the next time we are in town!

I thought it was awesome. However, I was slightly disappointed that we didn't stay on the sunset side of the bridge for our pictures. Most of our sunset pictures had the bridge in between us and the sunset. Some may like that, but I was hoping for a clear view. Needless to say, our pictures still turned out fantastic even with the bridge in them.

Well organized, views from every spot on the boat…. Great way to get close and under the mighty Mac with the sun setting! Crew was great as well as folks on land who answered phone to the ones who guided to the boat!

Gorgeous sunset over the lake until the clouds obscured it in the last few minutes. Cruising under the Mighty Mac was a very pleasant and unique experience.

I would double check to see if anything has changed, but the boat isn't large & only holds about 25-30 people & you are sitting along the perimeter single file looking over the water.

I have some mobility issues, how easy is it to get on and off the boat? and is there a bathroom on-board?

Not sure if there is a bathroom onboard, but there is one in the restaurant just before boarding. As for the mobility issue, this is a lobster boat, which requires you to be able to step from the deck across to the boat as it may be rocking a bit in the water. I have a bad knee but was able to board with hand held assistance. Hope that helps ☺️

This sounds so wonderful! I am not clear about the beverages...do we bring them or buy them? Is wine available if buying them is the answer, I don’t care for beer....and my hubby does not do any alcohol....is Diet Coke available. Of course if we are supposed to BYOB we can bring what we need. Also, do you recommend jackets or cushions? Thanks...coming the last week of June!

Where do you park for the cruise? We are staying in Saint Ignace and my husband can not walk far so just wondering if parking is far from departure point. What time does sunset cruise leave?

Parking is close by but the area was under construction when we went. The cost 25-30$ - my son treated us so not exact with price- sorry
