The tour is amazing as always. This was our third timre going.Really enjoyed Melissa as our guide. Very knowledgeable.

We went in with an open mind, as this was the first ghost tour we’ve ever been on. Our host was a young girl who told “encounter” stories that are 100% fabricated. The thing that tipped me over the edge the most was when she took us into the “food storage room” and told us that the rods she held were controlled by the ghosts. She then proceeded to ask questions to the spirits for 10 minutes in this dinky room with about 20 of us in there while she very clearly was using her hands/arms to move the rods. I could see the disappointment on nearly every adults face as the guide played with these rods, although the children loved it and soaked it all in-Good for those kids, though!
The whole thing felt very cheesy especially with the Halloween decor they have put up inside. And although the guide told us the castle had ghosts roaming and sometimes you can smell them, it all just smelled like…an old building. It was incredibly hot in the whole castle too.
The whole tour was a big disappointment. I would not recommend.

It’s a pretty castle, but not worth the tour you get. We take multiple ghost tours throughout the year, all over the country, and this is the first 1 star review I’ve ever left.
With respect to the staff - I learned most of the history through YouTube, and they were far more interesting and lively than our guide. Half the tour is just listening to audio they’ve caught (that you can barely understand), or showing pictures of sightings that you can look on google. We wanted to hear more of the history and hear stories of people who lived there. Oh, and a 5 minute video they show you, but you can barely understand the audio - it’s muffled and incredibly hard to follow. Easily fixed by using closed captions. The random skeletons throughout the castle are just hokey and the Creature from the Black Lagoon guy is just confusing … even if it’s supposed to be funny, it doesn’t make sense - None of the storytelling made sense with the Halloween-ish theme 🫤 Save your money. Watch some of the YouTube videos. They are pretty good and provide much more information. The ladies seem nice. And I feel bad for this terrible review, but it was just terrible.

What was advertised as a small group of up to 15 people turned out there were 44 of us on the tour. That is way too many people to move from room to room. Our guide was great and energetic, but the size of group made it difficult to enjoy the tour

We were no sure what we were getting into but we really enjoyed this tour. It was more interactive than any other ghost tour I've been on! Price was very affordable! Mary Beth did a great job!

There’s not much to do in Springfield, but this tour was a good choice. It was a very large group (40-50 people), instead of the small group tour they advertise. It didn’t compromise the experience, fortunately. You also get to learn about the history of the castle, which is very interesting.

This was an interesting and new visit for my sister and I on a recent trip to Branson. The night we went there was a thunder and lightning storm, we could not have planned it any better. The castle is beautiful. From the moment you walk in you can feel the history. The tour was about 15-20 actual people. We saw the girls and boys dorms, dining room, dungeon, steam tunnel, the chair room and several other rooms. The tour lasted about 1.5 hours for $30. The tour guide was very nice. I would have loved to spend more time in the mansion. Did I see or hear anything?? Well…you go and visit, see what you find.

This was an awesome tour. We actually caught a spirit on camara, as well as an awesome evp!
We heard voices and definitely felt the spirits haunting the castle from the beginning. I highly recommend!
