The only reason this existed originally was as a way to show off Steve Wynn’s personal art - so I’m extremely surprised that this still exists and is as good as it is in 2024. I was worried before my first visit that it’d be, at best, good by Vegas standards (as in, bad). But this is as good of an exhibit as you’d find in any modern art museum anywhere else. That is very high praise.
That being said, I have a feeling this only still exists because someone high up at MGM wants it to. At its core, this is a small modern art museum exhibit plopped in a terrible spot (past the pool but before the Spa Tower elevators) in a place where most people are going to be too drunk or high to appreciate it or running to a more high energy performance instead. The target audience is people intentionally looking for something lower energy and culturally enriching, and those people are probably not in Vegas.
I’m sure once whoever has been keeping the Gallery in existence leaves, the bloodhounds will pounce and turn this space into yet another speakeasy (maybe it’ll be pool themed). For now, I’d encourage folks to visit. Lots of places on the strip claim to have good art (including other MGM spots!) but many of them just randomly buy art as window dressing. This is the only place where artists and their work get the respect they deserve.
Side note: you get a free postcard as a keepsake with every visit. Not a big thing, but I do think it’s nice. I’ve been collecting mine.

The gallery offers an great collection of asian art like i have not seen it before! The members of staff are really courteous and the art is staged in a very professional way.

This museum always has interesting installations and it a nice reprieve from the Vegas action. I have been several times in the past and this installation was very interesting. I was not familiar with this body of work and I had a great tour with Bekah.

I arrived at the gallery, in late June and planned to pay with cash. They were accepting cards only so I was going to leave and hoped to get back another time. TONY, who worked there, offered me the option of a complimentary pass. Thank you to Tony. An unexpected act of kindness will not be forgotten. From Grain to Pixel ( Contemporary Chinese Photography) was very good.

Small but well done gallery. I love that the Bellagio commits a space to showcase rotating art exhibits. The exhibit alone doesn’t justify the $18 pp admission but if you catch the 2pm docent tour (included in the $18) then it’s well worth it. Our docent was Jay who was knowledgeable and helped to bring interesting context to the pieces. She made the visit worthwhile. Thanks, Jay.

I really loved this exhibit! Bekah (a fellow UNLV Rebel) was wonderful and made sure my father and I had an amazing time. Though the gallery is small, the pieces pack a punch. Definitely worth the time & money!

The gallery was spectacular and the staff were brilliant! My wife and I would like to give a special thank you to Deborah Simon… She completely made our experience special. There were three unbelievable pieces that belong in Moma in New York!

I love art. I visit as many art museums and exhibits as I can at home and when I travel. I've been to this gallery before, and it was solid. This exhibit is fine, but nothing extraordinary, and it's prohibitively expensive for the minute collection (It's $18 dollars, which amounts to about 1$ per work.) I likely will never return to this gallery because it just is not worth it.
