I think you should ask the vendor. The weight and inexperience probably won’t be a big deterrent. However, combined with inexperience might present an issue. However, our guide did have a tow on his kayak just in case someone couldn’t make it all the way back.

It takes a little muscle in this 4 mile paddle. They do have double kayaks, where one of the persons, can do most of the paddling.
