Super leuk hebben wij een Balinese kookles gevolgd hier! Veel geleerd over de Balinese keuken, de ingrediënten, de mensen en nog een locale markt bezocht. Onze coach/kok was heel enthousiast en bereid je van alles te leren. Aan het einde kregen we ook nog een kans om ons eigen gemaakte eten te proeven en een certificaat.

Had one of my more memorable experiences in Bali taking a cooking class on the final day. We started with a tour of the market then went to the restaurant where we had instruction in making 12 different Balinese dishes. Tommy, our instructor, kept things interesting and fun throughout the morning and the food turned out pretty delicious. Like that we get a cookbook at the end.

Nia cooking class Seminyak was the best experience, my husband and I learnt a lot from Tommy the chef, he’s fun and very knowledgeable about his craft.
Visited the market before we start the class.
Food was delicious, flavours amazing.
You meet people from other parts of the world.
All in all a great experience and I would highly recommend Tommy’s cooking class.

My friend and I had a marvelous time. She was very unsure she would enjoy it, but she did.!! Tommy was informative, funny, and extremely knowledgeable.

I am an executive chef with 20 years of experience. Food is, of course, a major part of my vacation in Bali.
This cooking class did not disappoint. Chef Tommy is a master of his craft and broke down everything systematically, culturally, and put everything into perspective to everyone in the class no matter where they came from. He related to individuals with such keen knowledge and understanding and broke the course down to where you can feel where the passion and roots of the cuisine grew - from the different types of gingers/galangal to even -why- their coconut oil kicks a$$ more than the western counterparts.
Needless to say, from the novice home cook to even the highest level of culinary echelons, anyone and everyone can learn from this class. It was fun. It was funny. And it was fantastic. I am a better chef after this one for sure.

This is both a fabulous cooking class A great experience and a wonderful lunch.
The little market tour introduces you to what you'll be using for cooking and will certainly get you to a place that you wouldn't go to otherwise. Then the cooking and the fun begins with everybody joining in and so many dishes prepared that everyone's going to take charge of at least one of them. Our chef Tommy was quite the character too. (Excellent work, thanks Tommy).
At the end of the day this whole experience, including being picked up from our Villa, cost us what we would have spent for lunch and the lunches.. oh my God... AMAZING

What a fun and cultural experience!
Our instructor, Tommy, was so much fun, and taught us about several traditional ingredients and dishes. I am vegan, and although there is a vegan class, I was unable to attend it, so they graciously accommodated me into the non-vegan class, putting single portions aside for me to cook along with the others, which I truly appreciate!!

The whole experience was awesome from a visit to the market first - smelling & learning about our ingredients to preparation & ultimately eating the amazing food we prepared in groups- so much fun….& we got a little souvenir cookbook- well worth it - thank you

My husband and I had loads of fun with chef Tommy and the group on our cooking class. Starting at the local market then on to a fantastic equipped outdoor kitchen Tommy took us thru about 12 Indonesian dishes. It was fun and Tommy was a perfect fit with his great personality and professional cooking skills. Would highly recommend this!

Hi, you actually do the cooking, they teach you, hands on how to make the base pastes for each of the recipes and you actually cook each item on the list in your group.
