Putu Adie was our guide, he’s very kind is always smiling. He also accompanied us going to the water falls and took great pictures. We feel very safe in our travel going to our destinations. We learned a lot from adie about the culture of indonesia. Thank you adie, you made our bali trip so wonderful!
The itinerary was well made — we got to see the most of Bali. The places are far but we had ample time for each spot (except for Lempuyang because the line is very long). Bali is very beautiful. We will definitely come back again.

I chose the morning tour. It was a great day with lots of relaxation! We were very early at Lempuyang Temple, which turned out to be very beneficial. Also all other stops were very nice. They collected a lot of impressions and the driver was also very nice and told a lot about the way of life and culture. The destinations were/are typical tourist stops in Bali, you should be aware of that. But I would still do it again as it was a great day all in all!

Putu and Ella were great guides. We saw a lot of different things on the island: rice fields, a coffee plantation, waterfalls, temples. They were super friendly and even took several pictures of me. It was perfect for me as I was traveling on my own but still wanted to check out of some of the island! I highly recommend.

We stayed in east-bali, which proved difficult for this trip (there is first driven far to the east and then back in stages). Two days beforehand adjustments discussed and that went well. Eventually we got a nice driver who came from Amed area (wayan)
The temple, well you must love it. Beautiful, but very touristy. Drawing numbers for the picture, that's not like us. Eventually wayan guided us to a place under the temple. Just as beautiful!
Tirtagangga and the waterfall were super fun, the buffet restaurant where we were then led was an expensive touristtrap. We did not want to eat there, after which wayan led us to a nice warung. Long day, but largely successful!

We had a great day together with our tour guides Ella and Putu! They were reallly social, explained a lot about the culture, the religion and the country and they also made great pictures.
Would definitely recommend doing this tour with them!

My family of 8 including kids and senior took this excursion. Had a wonderful experience ,my kids loved Ella and Putu . Putu he’s very skillful photographer has an eye for detail that is appreciated in this type excursion. All questions answered very knowledgeable. I highly recommend, Thank you!

Our tour guide was Putu and Ella. They were amazing!! We had such a good experience with them. They took gorgeous pictures of us and showed us places. They were very flexible and went above and beyond to give us a fantastic experience.

We were picked up early as we had a two hour drive until we got to our first stop. The reason is to beat the queues and it’s a very good reason as the iconic photos at the Gates take some time. We were number 58 and it took a good hour before we took our places for the pics.
Our driver was called Made and he was excellent. He knew when to advise and when to add conversation about the stops. Then when we went off to explore he was always ready and waiting to get off to the next place. Top effort and good English made it better for us.
We then went to the water palace and this was beautiful also. And then off to the waterfalls which was the longest drive as the roads were smaller. The falls are lovely but be aware that there are about 200 steps down to the canyon and they aren’t steps like you have in the house. Some are twice the size. Be warned.
After this we went to a coffee plantation and we’re really well looked after. Tasting some 16 coffees and teas and all free of charge. We then bought a couple of them but there was no pressure. It was a lovely place.
Then the final stop was a rice field which had the steps up and down the sides of valleys. Lovely pictures to be had and again a nice place to walk although it was the most commercial of the stops.
Then an hour drive home. Thru traffic which makes it harder but we were out for some 12 hours and it really showed you the hidden Bali. For the price, you don’t get better value and if your lucky enough to have someone with knowledge like Made and a good personal, all is good.
Boom this trip. It’s excellent.

Someone will be meeting you tomorrow at 5am at your hotel. Our driver came earlier than expected and it would be best to inform your hotel that a tour driver will be picking you up early morning. :)

Would it be possible to change the last part of the tour to something else? We have another tour planned, and we will already see the tegalalang rice teracces in that tour. So maybe it is possible to visit a different temple or place for the last hour?

It depends on your tour arrangements. If you go see the Heavenly gate temple, Koi garden, coffee plantation and rice terraces, the walk is manageable. However, if you plan to visit Mr. Batur for a mountain trek, river rafting or see the hidden waterfalls, it would be difficult since the hike is substantially long. There are a lot of good friendly tours in Bali you can avail as an alternative and still enjoy nature and amazing temple garden. Dont forget to experience the very famous Balinese Spa. It is worth the pampering. My advise is to go out of Kuta Bali and explore the places on the northern side. hope this helps you plan your trip. Goodluck!

I was thinking of booking this to do on my layover but was wanting to know how long this tour actually goes for as it says 12 hours, is anyone who has done this tour able to tell me roughly what time they got back to their accommodation?

It did take a long time. 12 hours seems accurate, we departed around 5am and returned close to 5pm. This may vary pending on how many other people go on the tour with you and how long they take to see the locations. I would say this is the best way to see the most in the least amount of time, but give yourself a a buffer because tragic is insane!
