Lovely gem if you're in the area! A very nice museum, well put-together and crafted with love. Has a large collection of old vehicles (motorcycles, cars, and plenty of planes). You'll probably learn quite a lot here, I know I did!
There's even a restoration shop in the back where they've been actively restoring an old plane.

An excellent museum with a wide range of exhibits. from Bicycles to motorcycles to airplanes everything is well explained and displayed. Amazing the number of planes contained in the building.

My son-in-law suggested this museum based on his interest in bikes, motorcycles and racing. We started with the movie which the family thought was a bit long but it was fascinating and really explained the background to all the exhibits. I learned so much! My daughter and I also enjoyed competing against each other during the scavenger hunt.

We thoroughly enjoyed attending at this museum. We spent the afternoon exploring the museum with all of the exhibits and contributions Glenn H Curtiss made towards the innovations of transportation we now use today. An eye-opener for sure!
Lots to see and learn. They even have a special restoration area for the planes.
We got our tickets from Tripadvisor and they had our booking and printed so we were good to explore when we arrived.

This museum gave me an entirely new insight into Glenn Curtiss’ impact on the history of aviation and the Wright Brothers, who we all view as the pioneers of aviation. Mostly on display are bicycles, motorcycles and cars. There are a few boats and airplanes. Personal furniture and belongings of Glenn Curtiss are also on display. Make time for the one-hour movie. I thought one hour would be way too long, but it’s packed with information about Glenn Curtiss and is very interesting.

Fabulous museum. The restorations are amazing. Really enjoyed the history of naval aviation as well as some of the local history. Very enjoyable.

This place was way better than expected. I knew a little about Curtiss but this museum was much larger, and had better displays than I expected. The motorcycle thing was interesting but I was really there for the aviation history. What I expected was an entire museum bashing the Wright Bros and their lawsuits against Curtiss. What I got was museum dedicated entirely to Curtiss and his & peers development of the motorcycle and aviation in general. Not hardly a peep about the Wrights. I guess the best compliment I can give is it gave me a whole new perspective on how Curtiss helped to develop early aviation.
