We asked for a vegetarian tour and it was really great. Edgar was very nice and the food was delicious. We did a very nice chocolate and beer tasting that sounds odd but was really good! Also really enjoyed a speak easy we went to at the end. Never would have found that on our own! Highly recommend.

AMAZING!!! I loved every part if it, the food was great. Listening to our experienced tour guide about the rich history of the food, places n people made it more meaningful, icing on the cake. I will most definitely be going back to eat in those places again.

We like to book a food tour first thing when we visit a new county.
David was an excellent host and we would recommend this tour to anyone. The food was great and the history interspersed between the stops was very interesting.

David, our guide was exceptionally energetic and enthusiastic about Queretaro history, Mexican history, food, and drink. The planned stops at interesting restaurants and bars with good food and great tequila were very good. The tour was made even more special when we had an unscheduled / spontaneous stop to taste two types of pulque. Even after the tour, David was responsive via text when we had questions about local foods. I definitely recommend Tacos, Tequila y Mas.

This tour is absolutely a must-do if you're traveling to Queretaro. Not only are all of the stops unique, local, and delicious, the tour includes lots of information about history and culture. David knows the Centro like the back of his hand and is able to answer almost any questions you may have. This is an incredible tour run by wonderful people. Do this on your first day in the city to orient yourself to the historic center, learn about the history of the city as well as some of the events that shaped Mexico as a country, and enjoy a wide variety of authentic and delicious food and drink. I would do this tour again!!

I would 10/10 recommend this tour. Edgar and Carolina were sweet and amazing tour guides. They were really down to earth and patient with us with all of our questions. All of the restaurants we visited were delicious with a great ambiance. We even learned a lot about the city and Mexican culture in general. This tour is everything I thought it would be and I am 100% satisfied!

If you are visiting Queretaro and want to make the most of your experience, you must book a tour with Explore Queretaro. The tour through the city was the highlight of our stay. We spent hours before the tour exploring the city on our own and didn't see 90% of what they showed us- No stone unturned. It was clear that our guides have a genuine passion and love for the city and after the tour, it's no mystery why. The experience was all encompassing : food, drink, history, culture. Wear comfortable shoes and bring your appetite, you won't regret it !

This is a must-do if you are staying in Querétaro. In the first place, if you are visiting or have just moved, the Centro Histórico can be a little intimidating because of its size and layout. This is the perfect way to get a basic understanding of the layout and become familiar with the more well-known landmarks. Second, it is a good way to get a dose of the history of México and the role that Querétaro played in it. Finally, the food and drinks are marvelous! You get a taste of a variety of different dishes from around the country along with the story behind each one. And you will get full! By the time the tour was over, I felt like I had just gotten up from the table at Thanksgiving! I highly recommend this tour, it is definitely worth the time and the price!!!

First, I want to say this--- David was truly awesome as a tour guide. He was patient, he spent more time with us than he planned, he explained everything clearly. And the most amazing thing..... he adapted his normal tour to meet our requests!!! I made some very specific requests based on dietary restrictions of some of my family members (no pork and no dairy). I also made some very specific requests about historical items I wanted to see, and he obliged!!!
Again, I can't say enough good things about the tour. Be prepared to WALK and EAT!!! We walked a long ways... and we ate more food than anyone should eat in one day!!! But it was worth it. I would do it all over again tomorrow. If you want to take a tour of QRO, don't 2nd guess it. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested.
