A must-see-and-do!
We LOVED the Comedy Museum! It’s very fun and interactive! We had a great time watching old comedy clips and interviews, learning about personalized comedy profiles, and becoming part of the comedy act! It’s a must-do and worth the trip to Jamestown! Also be sure to check out the Lucy-Desi museum if you Love Lucy, and Northwest Arena for fun ice-rink bumper cars!

If you're in the area, just do it!
Great way to spend a couple hours indoors. Numerous interesting rooms that had comedy throughout history. Props, outfits, videos. Pretty neat!

The most interactive compendium of comics EVER! The most multimedia usage I've been a participant. We stayed for a full 5 hours. From setting up our own profile at the beginning to a delicious libation and doing our own stand-up at the end, I'm running out of superlatives to write. I did go in at the very beginning saying to my wife, daughter and son-in-law, "I better laugh." Well just the first 20 minutes, I must have heartily laughed 20 times. You must visit the Comedy Center, truly a destination of laughs.

Get Ready to Laugh!
If you have the opportunity to go to Jamestown, NY, you must plan a visit to the National Comedy Museum! There are multiple interactive exhibits and one can spend a few hours to an entire day examining displays, videos, and learning about how comedians are connected to one another. Dee greeted us and helped us to understand the layout. Jeff helped us to get the most out of our experiences by offering suggestions. We jumped in to many experiences and received the photo and video we made by email by the end of our visit. We helped wrap candy on a conveyor like Lucille Ball and so can you! What a fun filled day!
The snack bar has beverages, light snacks, sandwiches and chips. One can also exit for lunch and return. Be sure to check their schedule and purchase your entry ticket on their website.

This was a most unique and interesting experience. We were given “profiles” that were updated via a chip on a wristband to titration what comedy experience best suited us. I had no clue about the history of comedy, through cartoons, skits, improv and movies - this museum explores it all. So fun and just an awesome way to spend a day. Thoughtful adaptable reuse of a train station.

couldnt have been happier with this experience...top to bottom all around..this is not something you do in an hour...we put a solid 5 hours in and werent able to see and do everything. we loved the way technology is used here...im very anti technology (phones, qr codes etc etc) but the tech here was very user friendly..a must do stop!

Found this gem when looking for something to do on a rainy day. Oh my goodness! This was such a fabulous find! We spent over three hours here and only left because they were closing. I highly recommend this museum!

I'm not sure what reason you would visit Jamestown NY except to go to the Lucy and Desi Museum and the National Comedy Center. Are they worth the trip? ABSOLUTELY. This is a hands-on, interactive museum for adults. Who wouldn't want to see themselves on the bonbon wrapping line from I Love Lucy? You enter a bunch of likes (of TV shows, movies, etc.) as you enter and then as you go through the center, your likes are catered to in certain presentations once you tap in. Plenty to do for a couple hours and there is a large gift shop, but disappointing cafe (basically grab and go with minimal selection). And don't forget to go the Lucy and Desi Museum, as you can get combined admission to both.

A Day of Sheer Fun!

This museum is amazing. We literally spent the whole day there. It has so many interactive things that are engaging, personalized and fun. We loved that it has something about every kind and period about comedy.
This museum was a big surprise and we only learned about it because we were coming to Jamestown to go to Southern Tier brewery. We bought a combined ticket with the Lucy and Desi Museum. Really, make a trip out of it!
