Nice tour to the local sights. There isn't much to see, but it's worth it. Anita does a great job. A lot is explained and there is enough time at the spots. Driving on and off the roads is an adventure. We felt very safe. Nice tour - saw a lot, ate delicious food, it was a lovely day. I would recommend booking for Germans.

Collected promptly from just outside hotel. Choice of sitting inside or sitting outside of pick up. Chose outside. Fabulous. Only 4 of us so felt very personal. Had the best informative trip. Marlene was brilliant and Bernado the driver was a very courteous driver. Had a fabulous lunch at casa Rosa in sal rei. The whole experience was a very remembrance one for our anniversary. Don't just book with reps..take the leaflets handed out at the airport. Paid a lot less than tui prices and as said before only 4 of us so made it more personal. Best 7 1/2 hrs spent. Rotcha tours highly recommend you thank you

We were picked up at the agreed time and then we set off in the back of the Jeep over dunes, hill and dale. We really enjoyed the tour, especially because Birte passed on a wealth of knowledge about the island and its inhabitants and wildlife to us and is super friendly. We saw sea turtles, visited beautiful beaches, tried out dune sledding and had a divine meal at Casa Rosa. We had a great day! Thank you so much for that.

We did this tour today and are so glad we did! We got to see lots of great parts of the island that we could easily have missed. Highlights were the beaches and sand dunes, the excellent lunch with great quality food and plenty to go around. Alcoholic drinks are extra but very fairly priced. The wreck was in a fascinating place. The landscapes vary and are just amazing
All in all, well organised, safe, interesting and good value. Highly recommended if you want to know the island better

From the beginning till the end the excursion was great. Our tour guide Emmanuel along with the driver provide us all the stories behind the sites visited and act like pros in all the situations even when we had a flat tire at the Turtle Bay. I'm a beach lover and I could say that the Santa Monica beach is by far the most beautiful beach ever seen! Also the lunch at the Casa Rosa in Sal Rei was amazing! If I have to come back to Boa Vista, I would not hesitate to choose Rotcha Tours again! Highly recommended! Greetings from Romania!

An absolutely amazing trip from start to finish. Picked up outside the security barrier of Riu Karamboa, waited a really short time for another group to join us and off we went. Honestly some amazing places visited and some stunning photo opportunities. Sandboarded in the desert and visited some of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen, saw some turtles swimming & got the opportunity to visit a local pottery place, where we could purchase something if we liked however didn’t feel any pressure to do so. The lunch was absolutely beautiful; we ate at Perola de Chaves, which we were so impressed with that we returned there off our own backs on our final holiday night for one of their themed evenings! Visited the capital city where we were able to go about our own business for a while; myself and my partner opted to have a drink at a cafe however there was plenty of other stuff to do like visit the fruit market etc. In total about a 7.5 hour trip, honestly so worth the money for some once in a life time opportunities. Emmanuel was amazing and super friendly; also, I take my hat off to the drivers because they are brilliant at what they do, the desert is no easy place to navigate! Would 10000% recommend this trip to anyone visiting, I’d do it again if I could!

Picked this trip as wanted to use a local company and saw positive reviews.
Great communication with Anita from the start. She asked if possible for us to change the day. Not an issue for us as on holiday.
Collected from hotel & given run down on trip by Anita and her husband Emanuel.
Felt like we packed a lot in. Felt a very personalised trip - did sand boarding, saw turtles in natural environment :-). Had a lovely photo opportunity at the caves & a welcomed swim - saw flying fish.
Small local pottery was nice & friendly.
Lunch included was delicious ( no leftovers) we had a welcome drink on arrival & choice of chicken &/or fish. Feel sure they would be able to cater for specific dietary needs if asked. Quick look round the town - a little fishing porto & few local gift shops.
Then off to see the shipwreck. Very rough &bumpy track took some time. The wreck was just like photos & to be honest would have been happy to ho back to hotel after lunch. Maybe the shipwreck could be additional if wanted.
All in all - fantastic value for the money, great way to see the island. Would definatly recomend - really enjoyed the lunch!

Anita and Emmanuel picked us up from our hotel and took us on a great adventure, exploring the island.
We sand surfed, saw turtles swimming in the wild, visited the island’s most famous shipwreck and still had time to enjoy some of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever seen. They also arranged lunch at a lovely little restaurant in Sal.
Anita, Emmanuel and their team were friendly and fun and their local knowledge makes you feel at home. No stress!!
We enjoyed our tour so much that we booked a second one, watching turtles lay their eggs, with them and that was just as amazing.
We’d highly recommend this local company ahead of the rather generic offerings from the big holiday firms.

We were staying at the Riu karamboa hotel and booked the tour from a leaflet we were given at the airport. We always prefer to use local companies. Anita picked us up from the hotel and gave us the benefit of her experience living, working and raising a family on the island that she clearly loves. She was recognized and greeted everywhere went. In Sal Rei Young children swimming at the beach were calling out her name. We had a delicious lunch at a marvelous restaurant at pria de Chaves and were so impressed we have booked to go back for a meal on their romantic evening. Anita gave us a tour of some of the best beaches in the world and swimming in the waves at Santa Monica was magical. The price of the tour was much lower than a similar tour offered by our holiday company and we thought it was amazing value. Thanks Anita for making us feel so welcome and looking after us so well. Hope to see you again on our next visit
