**A Memorable Evening with a Greek Family** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
What an unforgettable experience! Cooking moussaka with a lovely Greek family was a highlight of my travels. Their homemade version was way better than any restaurant, and the béchamel was amazing!
We were joined by a talented Italian chef who loved it so much that he ate three pieces and asked for the recipe.
The buffet was incredible, with many delicious Greek dishes. After we ate, we danced and shared stories, then enjoyed sweets together.
Finally, we relaxed on the balcony with drinks, soaking in the beautiful atmosphere and great company.
Thank you for such a fantastic evening! I can’t wait to do it again!

When we came to Thessaloniki, we wanted to learn vegetarian cooking with my wife and found a great opportunity. We had a chance to chat with Dora and asked whether it would be possible to cook vegetarian moussaka, and she gladly responded positively! Straight away we signed up for our experience in her home. We had such a great time cooking, dancing, and tasting delicious Greek wines. Dora's husband, Michalis, gave very interesting stories about Greek geography and mythology, too, which made it even better. We were so satisfied and excited that we booked a visit with him to see Mount Olympus. It was a great experience, and we would love to do it again. Thank you, Dora and Michalis!

perfect hosts!!!! perfect food!!! perfect buffet!! great local dishes!! we learned to cook moussaka and many other local foods. we drank local bream ouzo and wines!!! we also learned to cook vegetarian mousaka. on this particular date we were in the company of an Italian cook who ate 3 plates of moussaka!!! we had a great time and danced!!! thank you!!!

you must do it!!!! I have done a lot of cooking in many countries like Italy Turkey Portugal Israel Spain but this was the best I have ever done. it's not a restaurant that's what made me try it and on that particular day there happened to be at their house another lady with her daughter who gives Michelin stars to restaurants in Europe wow. Dora's family, their husband and daughter showed us how to make moussaka - tzatziki - sweets - salads - and various other dishes. There was also a buffet with local dishes. the food was
so much that we also got for our hotel. we also drank and tasted local wines and also ouzo and tsipouro. also Dora taught us Greek dances and her husband taught us many things about local history and geography. it is certain that if I come to Thessaloniki again I will definitely go to this family again. Thank you very much!!!

Excellent option if you are in Thessaloniki! Dora and Michael do not disappoint! It was safe, fun, and we learned so much about Greece. The experience allows you to immerse yourself with a Greek family that offers a unique brand of authenticity. Plus the food was DELICIOUS. Highly recommend!

Simply an amazing experience which I highly recommend to anyone staying in Thessaloniki! Dora and Michael are excellent hosts! I consider myself confident at cooking but the tips and methods Dora taught me to make the dishes were exceptional and it was the creamiest moussaka I have ever eaten! Her lovely daughter even got involved! Dora also taught me a traditional Greek dance and Michael taught me a lot about Greek history and the geographical regions too! My favourite activity I have booked in the city by far! Make sure you arrive hungry as i also was given some delicious homemade Greek pastries! Keep doing what you're doing!

It was the best decision to book this course. We were given such a warm welcome and we all cooked together and learned a lot of new things. Cooking is simply fun like this. It is definitely worth having this experience.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with this cooking class! It's no lie that the food is incredible in Greece. We spent the afternoon/evening learning how to make a variety of dishes with Dora and her helpful and knowledgeable daughter Daphne, who welcomed us into their home for this wonderful experience. Everything was made from scratch, with local and fresh ingredients. Since this experience, we have brought these recipes back to Canada and have shared these authentic greek dishes with friends and family.

We were excited to learn how to cook traditional food on our vacation in Greece and this experience exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide Dora, welcomed us into her home where we were instructed by her and her sweet daughter Daphne on a variety of courses. We learned how to prepare a main course, an appetizer, tzatziki dip, salad, and dessert. The view from her patio of the city and the sea. We were warmly welcomed by her family and appreciated the entire experience.

Michael and Dora, our lovely hosts, welcomed us with great warmth and friendliness. We arrived an hour late and dinner that was supposed to end at 10 lasted until midnight and beyond. Dora taught us to cook Moussaka and Halva which is a Greek dessert and made an effort to make a vegan meal for me which is not easy, in the Greek kitchen to cook without cheese and meat.
Michael is a tour guide, full of knowledge about every place to visit and also knows all about Greek mythology.
We spent an amazing evening of dancing, drinking and eating, we will not forget them.
Lovely couple.
