We had an awesome day spent with Mark & Joanie visiting waterfalls and craft breweries. They picked us up at our rental cabin and dropped us off there at the end of the tour. It was a relaxing day with short hikes to the falls.
Mark was very knowledgeable in the history of the area and identification of trees and wildflowers. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would highly recommend Carolina Bound Adventures for any tour they offer.

We absolutely loved this tour! Mark and Sarah were our guides and they were so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, it was an absolute blast. If you are in Bryson City, you have to take this tour. Great Smokey Mountains National Park was such a special place. We learned so much from Mark and Sarah while we were on the hike. We cannot wait to come back and do it again. Take the tour!

This was an absolutely awesome tour. Mark was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the waterfalls and the breweries. Mark picked out exceptional breweries. We had a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend this tour.

We were a group of 6 and went on the waterfalls/breweries tour. We had a fantastic time. Mark picked us up where we were staying exactly when he said he would arrive. We went to 4 waterfalls and then 5 breweries. Mark was very professional and personal. I highly recommend this trip.

Great tour with Mark & Joanie! Six of us started early in the day. Drove & walked through gorgeous areas to view the waterfalls. By early afternoon stopped for lunch and starting enjoying the fine breweries in the area. A super time!

My sister and I booked this experience after we were told to buy bear spray. Mark took the time to share the history and nature of the park. We loved every aspect of the hike between the beauty in nature and the waterfalls.

We didn't need that bear spray someone told you to buy! But it's still fun to see the bears AND it was a joy working with you both! I hope we get to see you here in the mountains again someday!

Mark helped make our trip and brewery tour experience a memorable one. He was professional, very down to earth and knew the area as well as fun facts about many of the different places we went. There were six of us on the trip and we never felt rushed. Easily would recommend to others and will be using his service again. Thanks, Mark!!

Mark took six of us on his Waterfalls and Breweries tour yesterday. We had an amazing time! He arrived promptly to pick us up with a spacious and clean car. He helped us pack our belongings, had a phone charger for us, put us in control of music, and even had barf bags at each seat in case anyone got motion sickness (thankfully, no one did). He was laid back and incredibly knowledgeable of the area. We joked afterwards that he knew “a ton of stuff about a ton of stuff.” All of the waterfalls he took us to were beautiful. There was a light/moderate hike to see a few of them, and as fairly in-shape people, in their late twenties, we broke a little bit of a sweat, but it wasn’t anything crazy and was totally worth it. Mark was eager to tell us the spots to get the best pictures of the falls, more than willing to snap pictures for us, and stayed excited for us every step of the way. After the falls, we stopped at five different local breweries, all with their own vibe. Our favorite stop was The Lazy Hiker for sure. We got lunch at the food truck there and bought a bunch of merchandise. The beer was delicious too. Mark made us feel comfortable, taken care of, and never rushed us. Overall, this trip was a huge success and we would recommend it to anyone. We arrived safely back at home having learned a lot about the area as well as a lot about all of the different services Carolina Bound Adventures offers. We look forward to booking another tour with Mark again in the future.

Lazy Hiker, Currahee Brewing Co., and Mountain Layers I believe! From looking back at my photos :) There were 5 though and I don't remember all of them, but they were all wonderful!!
