Unprofessional

Cancelled our tour a week ahead of the booking yet still had bookings available for that date. Seemingly they choose when they might be able to get more money they cancel existing bookings

As I wrote to you before I cancelled..I had to cancel 1 week before and i rewrite 1 WEEK BEFORE (giving you all the time to book with another company)and not in the last moment..due to a personal reason that it had to do with my family. If I was like you, I would cancel in the last moment and you would loose your day.. Although i didn't do it.. because I respect your time and I respect every client either they take my service or not. Now if you don't respect this reason and you have so much arrogance and lack of humanity and an egoistic attitude that makes you feel and react like this way, thinking that you are the priority and above everything..then you are not welcomed in my country and this type of tourists we don't want them. Family is above everything, and of course above money and above humanoids, not clients not you. Definitely I wouldn't cancel one booking in order to take another for more money because 1) the price is standard and stable either you are the God or a simple worm, either you book one year ago or in the last moment and 2) I offer a professional service and I am not an adventurer trying to earn more and more putting as the first rule and value money by doing games. 3) i don't have the need to do it . Besides I have legal boat rental company and not an auction rental service that takes the boat whoever makes the bigger bid. However and if your argument was TRUE, which is not due to the mentioned above and below reasons, and not a slanderous comment why you didn't report me in the platform for practicing "auction bidding" services? You didn't because i didn't do this action obviously. Also if you can accuse me for something, please i challenge you to contact the platform and ask them when was the last time that i edited my price, i give the permission to give you this information, and if they Don't, i can give you this info. During my beginning of being active in this platform, on 2018...Also do you offer your services with the prices of 2018? Because every price in any category is increasing. And I never made any price increase, following the standard..by increasing my prices although all of this global price increase trend. So be careful with your bad will comments that you will write that iam unprofessional and i lift prices jack a ss. I have prices of 2018 and not of 2023 following the "trend". Compare my prices with the prices of other boat rental companies and take for one more time your response in your bad will review which shows how liar you are and with a bad attitude and personality. I pay more for my gas, my basic products, my cost of living my taxes, I pay more for my boats technical maintenance, for boats insurance , but I insist and I keep my prices of 2018 and low being a human and not an opportunistic person. Now regarding The fact that it had open dates c l own is due to technical unavailability of the platform to close the dates. And even if you saw availability c lo wn, did you see another price higher than the price that you booked? So when you rewrite the review in order to be more harmful be more clever and not a jack as s because things are clear and the prices are clear enough, as right now that iam writing this answer. Nothing is hidden. However probably in your culture you may do it in order to gain more money as probably your funds or banks or your system do or did it and present us, the greeks as you believe by writing your offensive and insulting review. However we never colonized any place , we didn't slaughtered native people and we never stole their lands wealth. So when you are going to write something like the above review be careful, because your countries and your multinational companies are the flag keepers regarding money worshipping and of course for all the "good" actions that you use in order to achieve your "humanitarian " and "democratic " purposes...by destroying people and countries. And by manipulating the markets by playing and swifting the prices of products, stocks,bonds,crypto etc always in an uptrend mode and always for your interest. And In my personal culture what you wrote is offensive and shows disrespect. If you believe that you are coming here and we have to be like your servants, I must notify you that some other will accept it because they are worshipping the money some other like me they will say to you go from where you came. Here is not the place for people with no values respect and ethics. Greece is f ucked up a lot by e vil local politician's and by evil people from your western countries that wants us depressed and with the boot in our necks. You are visiting the poorer country of europe coming from countries with greater wealth and you are begging for good prices and offers ,cheapie people and you behave too like we belong you , or we are going to put you as a priority by decreasing or lowering ourselves, NO dude no!! ,If you cannot afford to visit a foreign place stay in your country. Except of some people that respect us and themselves, but this is not the greater percentage. Enough , enough, no more, or no more for everyone. And when you send a mail as you did it in my mailbox you are going to write it either in the language of the country that hosts you or in English at least. As I do the same if I visit a foreign country. I will communicate in their language or English and I will pay for what they will ask me for after my research. I will never ask for an offer or I will fall in 4 for a better price. And If I cannot afford to travel, I will stay in my place and I will keep up my dignity. Did you get it? But now that you had to write the 1 star review in order to be more compatible to more viewers you knew how to write English... I feel pitty for you and it's better that I didn't offer you the service. You didn't deserve it.

Exactly. Safety is the number one priority. Above money above personal interest. It's better to cancel a booking and loose money instead of loosing a human or providing a bad experience due in order to do not loose the money.

Family cruise.

One of the greatest experience of our lives was the cruise that we had across the southern side of Milos. We saw all the famous beaches, and hidden spots and Finally we reached Kleftiko. It wasn't so crowdy and we felt with my kids that like we were in heaven. Everything went perfect and the owner of the company gave us the feeling of trust reliability and security. Thank you Petro for this unforgettable memory from our visit in Greece.

Kleftiko cruise

Everything went perfect. Petros the owner gave us a lot of valuable information regarding our cruise to Kleftiko. He was very friendly and kind and for sure the best choice for that we could do.
Kleftiko is a wonderful place which you can do snorkeling and dive in clear blue waters.

I had a truly awful experience with this rental boat service. The owner was incredibly rude, and to make matters worse, they charged exorbitant fees for their services. What’s even more disappointing is that the owner made racist remarks, which is completely unacceptable, and also made inappropriate comments about my girlfriend. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone; it was a disrespectful and overpriced experience.

With a great surprise i saw this review and i cannot respond in this review personally, because it was posted to the wrong business, accusing the wrong person, for a situation that I don't know,and by a client that i DON'T KNOW and i NEVER HAD during past and present moment , any CHAT, MAIL, REAL LIFE CONVERSATION .I NEVER PROVIDED any service to this client and I NEVER CHARGED this client that post the review. Besides the right recipient of the review may be found easily from the client's credit card details and the company of booking that credited the booking amount FROM CLIENT'S CREDIT CARD. I contacted the content team of Viator IN ORDER TO REMOVE THIS REVIEW, THAT TARGETS THE WRONG BUSINESS AND THE WRONG PERSON. However and according to what i read, i will write down as a simple observer of a situation, that I feel terribly sorry that you faced this behaviour in Milos island from another company although you posted in my review section. This behaviour that you faced doesn't represent the rest of us. If you truly decided to book with me definitely you would receive a service with true value and respect towards you and your people and of course with a budget friendly rental option. Also from the moment that any person ride my boat for cruising Milos, automatically this person is becoming for me, as important as my dogs, cats, family members, and my friends are ,and i give my full care, respect , strictness regarding safety rules in order to cruise safe and return safe, and having a great experience and the best memory from Greece. Now and regarding boat owners..be gentle, kind , polite do not flirt, do not be unfair , do not be rude and try to be the best representers of Greece in the rest of the World.

Poor Communicator - had to cancel

Had to cancel the booking.

I received the confirmation of the booking and had questions about pick up point clarification and whether 4 hours was considered a full day (because I was going to offer to pay for a longer day with the boat). He called my questions offensive and went into a big diatribe about his honour... Wow... I was just asking some clarification questions.

Needless to say I cancelled my booking. Here is my last email in full - you can judge for yourself whether it was offensive.

Hi Petros,
I did read your email but unfortunately it does not match what it says on the website.
For one thing, my confirmation and information is not in Euros. To confirm, we paid $227 in Canadian Dollars so I assume based on your note that this is for a FULL day and we should expect to pay 80 euros for gas when we get there. And what hours do you consider to be a full day? This is quite vague.

You say in your email that the departure spot is from Provatas or Agios Sostis but the confirmation note says Pollonia Beach. These are important details that we need to get right. My confirmation # is . and booking reference is #.

Please confirm and thank-you for your patience,

Petros replied with a big long email talking about the wind direction and take off points and ended his response with "I work with ethos and professionalism and not with cheating or with unclear points in order to take money. Money is paper. Values and ethos is gold.
Your previous message was insulting and according to my point of view, offensive."
I have no idea what I wrote that was so offensive. I was just trying to clarify so I did not show up at the wrong location + see if I could pay for more hours.

Not trying to kill the guys business but I would be wary about communicating anything with him by email or text. :(

Thank you for this "warm review".. It's the first time...that someone didn't understood all of my points... and my focus in safety issue which is the greatest aspect of this business sector, although hundreds of people from 2018 fully understood everything just from the descriptions..and That's why i send you the link of windfinder in order to see and understand some poins regarding safety and departure spots.. although my content was CLEAR. And instead of appreciating my attitude to guide you in the best way in order to have a great experience in Milos, without considering from my side,how to take you the money , because money is far below than professionalism and ethos, and I care how to give you a great service , your appreciation was the above review. ..and after this kind of messages like yours i understand why humanity is declining.. If you like to cheat or get cheated..and you have a problem with hearing or reading words as ethos or professionalism then whoever who is going to read our "compositions" will understand a lot. Ps. Is not poor communicator someone that explains everything regarding the service that offers and there is not any missing or blind point. From the beginning i mentioned everything regarding duration , prices,etc and because you didn't have the courage or the word to respond in our email communication you placed here an unethical review. Learn to have ethos,values, kindness and gentle manners. Of course i don't want any other communcation with you or with people with the same arrogant and disrespectfull attitude like yours. Whoever will choose me among the great competition that we have in Milos, must be first of all Human with principles,respect,values,ethos and not a superficial humanoid with arrogance and all the bad elements of such personalities. This type of persons in my small personal business are not WELCOMED. Welcomed are only real and genuine Humans that respect our service and as payback to them, we return a great service and an everlasting experience.

Reservation cancelled out of the blue after being double confirmed

We booked this and after going back and forth over private message with the owner and confirming all the details of our rental, without warning our booking was cancelled not too long before our trip. Went back on the website and was able to book it again just to be told “I won’t be available” and cancelled again. No apology or sorry for the inconvenience just an out of the blue cancellation for a confirmed booking. Ended up having to book with another company. Be warned, the booking by no means confirms that you are guaranteed to get a boat and you could be stealth cancelled even after double checking your reservation is confirmed.

Dear Andy for men like you with no honour and ethics women today are complaining that men do not exist. If the model of man is you, truly they are right. So people that you will read my respond...Andy he was searching for other deals till he would find the best one,very logical and fair and everyone will do the same. When he booked with me, he didn't stayed in his booking giving me the security, that he won't cancel in the last moment, letting me freezed waiting to do for him my service , but he continued his research till he would find the best deal by his writings to our mail exchange. As a professional and as a Human and not servant or disposable product of anyone, SEVERAL days before i cancelled his booking, while we had a DOZEN exchange of mails in order to explain to him, in few words that is not fair to book a slot with a boat rental company , and continue your research till you find the best deal and cancel the booking with the company in the moment that you will find the best deal with another company. Because in this case ,this does not ..above all shows respect to us that we are choosing to do tourist activities, giving you our best behaviour. Its not fair to keep a date for you, and cancel another person that he wants the same day, and when the day will come to press the cancel button. Its not ethical and fair. We are humans and not servants of any of you. Besides Andy he did another illegal action and revealed in a third party our communication The selected parts and what he could write to defend himself, the same as his review here..) without my permission. In a third party that maybe he could affect my business and my reputation in such a small society as Milo's society. For Andy's behaviour and for some other bad behaviours from other people,for this season i decided to postpone my business activities because above all iAm human and i don't accept unethical behaviours and people that think that we are there only to serve them and treat us with no any respect as Human beings. Kleftiko cruise!!

After a long research we decided to rent a boat from Petros. After his suggestions we managed to see the beauties of Milo's Island in the southern part till Kleftiko.
