Incredible family day out, booked short notice and with Rachel as guide who was a complete superstar with all of the party, mixed abilities from rusty to total novice to nervous of heights. We absolutely will book again. First class.

Many thanks to Pure Outdoors and our instructor Gavin for a brilliant half day climbing on Burbage Edge. My 16yro son and I had an amazing time, learnt so much and felt safe through the entire process.
Gavin paced the morning excellently for us and we got a lot of time on the rock which was exactly what we wanted.
The team at Pure Outdoors were brilliant at giving us options due to poor weather conditions on our original booked date.
I would really recommend that Gavin and the team at Pure Outdoors.

Amazing views, and really kind, supportive and encouraging staff! A great introduction to climbing in the outdoors (although would definitely recommend taking midge spray!!)

A great 2 day intro to roped climbing out on the rocks with these guys! Felt completely safe, got some great instruction and even got to try some crack climbing as an unexpected bonus. Fully recommend!

Loved the experience. Shared the adventure with my 14 year old boy ( who also loved it).
You are pushed out of your comfort zone but when you reach the top of each climb you get that sense of having achieved what seemed impossible at the start line. Instructor was great at encouraging us to finish and not give up when it was getting very difficult.
Do expect to get your hands dirty, minor scratches and scrapes by the end of the day is to be expected.
Don’t ware your favourite jacket.

Answering the call of the wild, we (five guys, and one girl) decided to book an introductory climbing day through Pure Outdoor.
Our instructor, Lauren, was first-rate throughout our day spent on Stanage Edge. From helping us to fit our kit to providing clear and careful instruction on the various routes we attempted, Lauren was professional and supportive throughout. She kept us safe but additionally allowed us to learn how to maintain our safety individually. Lauren also gets extra credit for laughing at our jokes to which there was no obligation for her to have done so!

Excellent outdoor adventure company based in the Peak District.
We booked our teenage boys in for a one day climbing course. They enjoyed it so much they wanted to do a second day - the team were really flexible and allowed them to join the second half of the two day course.
Matty was and excellent instructor. The team were well organised, good equipment and all very focussed on safety.
Reasonably priced for a great outdoor experience. Would recommend highly.

Lauren was very welcoming and willing to work with our different abilities, challenging and motivating us all. We experienced 8 different climbs and all enjoyed it - would definitely come back and do it again. Would highly recommend. Thank you

Perfect afternoon introduction to climbing. We booked a private beginners session, and Matty was brilliant. He got all 3 of us climbing and really challenged our daughter into trying some things she might not have done otherwise. Brilliant way to spend an afternoon. Highly recommend 👌

Really great beginners course. Nikki, our guide, was brilliant. Suitably challenging and rewarding but very safe. And great scenery.
