This was a very convenient way of getting to visit Kaziranga from Guwahati. All the staff were very friend and accommodating and we really enjoyed our two safaris by jeep into the national park to see wild elephant and many rhinos

The big five wildlife tour! This heaven for big five animals is a great marshland interspersed with large pools fringed with reeds, patches of elephant grass, scattered trees, and thickets. Therefore Wildlife includes the world’s largest population of great Indian one-horned rhinoceroses, tigers, leopards, panthers, bears, elephants, wild pigs, hog deer, swamp deer, buffalo, and pelicans, storks, and other waterfowl. Do pay a visit to this great reserve at lest once in your lifetime.

The experience is amazing when you enter the deep jungle in a Jeep for the Jungle Safari. Kaziranga National Park has been declared by UNESCO as a world heritage site and is a home for the one horned rhinoceros. Come experience the beauty of nature with your friends and family.

Great wildlife offering sights of majestic Indian top species, especially the one horned Asiatic Rhinos. Herds of Elephants crossed our path and sighting a tiger was simply unbelievable. Tigers are very rare to see even in an tigers only sanctuary, but here we sighted them in a sanctuary built for 01 horned Rhino's only.

Indian Bigfive! Rhino, leopard, Tigers, buffaloes , elephants. And the amazing forest of Kaziranga, it was a mind-boggling safari, absolutely thrilling and adventurous

Had a wonderful experience seeing the wildlife and birds in the Nature conservation area .....all enhanced by Our wonderful guides and leader Amit ! who ensured we had a great weekend experience , he also took us to restaurants and the Orchid flower park and museum .Thankyou Amit for making it such a Unique and wonderful time and looking out for us 3 ladies in India 😊👍Then when he was busy with another tour he went above and beyond to organise us a trip out to Shillong !! Overseeing us from afar and making sure we got back to our hotel safe and sound after another great trip thankyou again Amit

He is a true local who let travellers to explore like local only. And yes though he was busy in another of our assignment but still he contacted us and provided you another excursion on the spot basis.

Amazing place and best wild life we have seen so far. Rhino and elephants were seen in good numbers. A perfect place for refuge for the wildlife and good place to witness Mother Nature in its full affection

We did both the elephant and jeep safari with the Baruah brothers. Mr Rubul Baruah arranged for the elephant safari and Mr Bubul Baruah took us on the jeep safari.
For the elephant safari, we had to start early, by 5am. It is a 1 hour safari. We spotted several rhinos and deer, during this safari. It was a wonderful experience. Wooden seats with metal fastening are provided. They are safe and quite comfortable too.
The jeep safari is about 3 hours long. The jeep is open type and can carry about 8 people including the driver. We spotted few rhinos, different varieties of birds, deer, wild elephants (from a distance), turtles, wild buffalo, wild boar.. But no tigers. We were told that tigers are normally spotted in the evening safari. Due to lack of time we couldnt do an evening safari.
We carried a pair of binoculars to view animals at a distance. We found this really useful.
We enjoyed both safaris.. But a word of caution - ensure that the mahouts do not get all around to view the rhinos during the elephant safari, especially when a mother rhino is with her cub. This can get the rhinos to panic and may be even attack. We were almost in a similar situation, but when we noticed that the rhino was panicing, the mahout slowly back away. Also ensure people are not loud. That can agitate the animals.

Booked on a 3 day rhino and tiger safari in Kaziranga through Viator and Discover Activities. We had a fantastic tour, which was great value for money and went without a hitch. We were picked up promptly from Guwahati airport on arrival and not long into the journey joined by our tour guide Amit Kumar. He spoke excellent English and pointed out different places during our five and a half hour road journey to Kaziranga. He was able to speak to the staff in the Kaziranga Florican Lodge where we stayed. It was a comfortable room and ensuite with hot running water. We didn't get time to check out the cable TV, but it was provided. Being Australian I felt the cold at night, but they provided us with extra blankets to keep warm. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was also included and we enjoyed the array of locally cooked food. We participated in an elephant safari the next morning, where we were lucky to sight several rhino, including a mother with a calf. We were told there is a 200% guaranteed chance of spotting rhinos, which we even saw outside the park. We also saw Swamp Deer, Hog Deer, Wild Pigs, Buffalo and many birds. It was a lovely experience sitting atop an Elephant tracking through the long grasses in search of wildlife whilst the early morning mist swirled around us. Later our guide picked us up and took us to an Orchid farm where we saw many orchids with several in bloom. Then he took us for thali at a local restaurant. Late afternoon we went on a jeep safari. The national parks guide and driver had a great sense of humour and keen eyes for wildlife spotting. We saw many rhino, wild elephant, swamp deer, hog deer, buffalo, monkeys, otters and a huge array of birds including eagles, owls, kingfishers, egrets, cormorants and ducks. Our drive to the airport the following day got us there with plenty of time to spare. We left with fond memories.

Dear Hazel, both "Discover activities" and Kaziranga are honoured to have a honest and knowledgeable guest like you. Your elaborate and profound review has promoted this wildlife secret to the world now and hope more tourists can now avail this reasonably priced offer. I do odd jobs to sustain my family and never think of earning from my guests who choose india as their travel destination among whole world. Mr Pandey was selected for your assignment since only he could match the fluency of an Australian and since he was also a local, similarly other elements are carefully selected by "Discover activities" to match the expectations of the travelers at the least possible price. May you come to india again and we will again leave no stone unturned to provide you the best of our services whole heartedly.

I am planning to visit Guwahati on 14th December2022. My return flight is 13.05pm on 16th Dec. Wondering weather possible to a have wildlife tour of Kaziranga.
