My sis and I visited the UK for the first time in mid-December, 2022. We were so lucky to find Sheila! Not only was she gracious, patient and sweet but she is extremely knowledgeable about Hampton Court Palace! Great stories (including ghost stories) that were interesting and fun. I highly recommend a personal tour with Sheila — she is the best! Hey Sheila from the two California sisters :)

Sheila was great!!! The tour was well delivered and keep our attention for three hours....that's incredible. We have done hundreds of tours all over the world and she's one of the best guides we have ever used.

Fabulous tour of Hampton Court with Sheila.
Advertised as a 1.5-2.0 hour tour--hours was over 3.5 hours with never a dull moment.
Sheila brought the history alive with multiple anecdotes of times yore and present.
Would recommend her highly.

Sheila was such a fun and knowledgeable guide. Friendly & approachable, she was able to give us the answers to all of the questions we had and we felt like we had covered every inch of Hampton Court Palace.
We had wanted to visit for a long time and Sheila's tour was invaluable.
Highly recommended for fans of royalty, the Tudors, ghostly tales, the Georgians etc etc. There is nothing Sheila doesn't know about Hampton Court Palace.

I highly recommend Sheila, who was my personal guide at Hampton Court. It was a extraordinary and marvelous experience. She knows the history and had all the facts around H.C. and it’s kings and queens.
The palace came alive under Sheila’s guidances. I had a wonderful day and definitely learnt a thing or two

Sheila gave me a private tour of Hampton Court and I could not be happier that I had that experience. Sheila has an amazing depth of knowledge about the history of this very important place in English history. I primarily came to learn about the Tudor history laced into this landmark site but also learned a great deal about the Georgian historical aspects of this castle. For a history nerd like myself, Sheila couldn't have done a better job transporting me back in time and sharing with me such a vibrant and rich history of the Tudor and Georgian times. Sheila's parting gift was a recommendation to eat at The Mute Swan where I had the most phenomenal lamb and mint sauce. A tour with Sheila is definitely worth your time!

I arrived in the early afternoon and met Sheila in front of Hampton Court. Within minutes, Sheila transported me to Tudor and Georgian times and gave me a behind the scenes tour of the history, culture and little known nuggets about the incredible people who have lived at Hampton Court. Simply a phenomenal experience and worth investing the time and money to have a memorable and long-lasting impression of a major historical site in the history of England. Sheila also provided me with a really great post-tour food recommendation before traveling back to London. I still dream of the lamb and mint sauce I ate at The Mute Swan.

Sheila was fantastic! She has encyclopedic knowledge of history and clearly explains many stories — including a ghost story or two — that makes this castle so fascinating. She captivated my teen kids’ attention the entire time. There were many guides to choose from and am so glad I chose Sheila.

This was an amazing experience! Shirley is so knowledgeable and responsive. I thought I knew a lot about Hampton Court but she brings its colorful history into real focus with great stories, behind the scenes glimpses of palace life (both past and present) and her obvious enjoyment of sharing her decades of expertise. I had a great afternoon!
