During our Portland trip, the Weird Bar Crawl was definitely one of our favorite activities. Dresden provided a fascinating perspective on local history as we traveled through a fun + eclectic mix of bars. His choices clearly showcased the strong communal nature of the city.
We instantly clicked with the other people on tour and had some incredibly deep conversations for the amount of time we had known each other. We stayed at the bar long after the tour officially ended, talking and getting to know each other until much later. The tour ended with us (not so) slightly intoxicated, along with a newfound appreciation of the city and some hilarious stories from new friends.
Dresden: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! We had a great time getting to know you, throwing snakes, and seeing Portland through your eyes.

The Weird Bar crawl was a great experience for both me (someone who lives in the Portland area) and my cousin (who was visiting from Iowa). We learned a lot of interesting facts about the city and the locations we visited had a variety of delicious food and drinks. This is a great tour for anybody who wants to meet laid back people and have fun.

Amazing & totally recommend to anyone visiting or even if you just move here. Dresden knows EVERYTHING PORTLAND. He’s friendly, inclusive, thoughtful and wants you to see portland through his eyes. Even though I’ve been here before, this was by far the best experience I’ve had. 5 people in our tour, short walks between stops and he took us to places we wouldn’t have found on our own. I might do this tour every time I visit - it’s that awesome. Thank you for a wonderful evening ❤️👍🏼😁

I travel solo a lot and this is by far in my top 5 experiences out of anywhere I’ve gone! Dresden is clearly so passionate about Portland and about what it stands for and how weird it can get - and it shows all throughout the tour. I travelled in a pretty wild time but Dresden worked around closures and the tour was still wonderful and captured the spirit of what Portland is. Extremely memorable locations paired with great conversation and some pretty out there facts made for the perfect end to the night! I couldn’t recommend this tour enough - so to anyone thinking about it definitely do it!

Dresden makes this “throwing snakes” tour so fun and interesting. He has tons of facts about Portland and the bars you visit, all the while making the tour feel like just an outing with friends. It’s honestly one of the best tours I've ever done, and it’s a great way to meet other people if you are solo like me!

The best! This tour perfectly captures the spirit of Portland and gives you a taste of everything that makes Portland unique. Dresden has the special ability to bring a group of strangers together and make them feel like family. Highly recommended to anyone looking to for a truly unique experience!

My sister and I took this tour on our first night in Portland and were not disappointed! Dresden was the perfect tour guide, super fun, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about everything Portland. Would DEFINITELY recommend booking this tour.

Dresden was super friendly and great! Had a grand time exploring Portland with him and the group, it's super nice to be able to have some stranger-friends to experience a new city with, along with a super knowledgeable and sociable human to give us all the details on why Portland is great. Lovely experience!
