This is a must tour for seeing and understanding the beauty, charm, and history of Bluffton. This was our second time around and this time we brought with us visiting friends from California. Our tour guide - Sam - was terrific. She was knowledgeable, winsome, and friendly. I also can't forget to recognize our horse, Angus, who did a stellar job guiding our carriage. I highly recommend Sea Island Carriage Company.

We had the pleasure to have Sam and Mick Jagger take us around the beautiful historic Beaufort talking about the architecture, stories of specific homes and those who had lived there.
Sam was a wonderful guide and delivered her knowledge well as well as answering questions. She will make a great National Park Guide in the near future.
It was cool on the day we went and we’re thankful that there were a number of blankets on board that helped take the chill off.

Very pleasant experience. The carriage ride was on time and informative. Our guide talked almost the whole time about interesting history and current happenings in the area.

Our tour was on Wednesday March 22 at noon. Our tour guide was Sam and she did an excellent job with her narrative, assuring our safety, and her knowledge of the area. It was an enjoyable hour and we learned a few things. Thank you.

We loved this tour. Tyler was a great guide and driver. She had a relationship with Lincoln, our horse, that was admirable, qnd she reassured us that he was well cared for.
She knew a great deal about the places we passed, including the "angel trees".

Our guide, Jennifer, and her trusty steed, Justin, were an absolute delight. We enjoyed hearing the history of the island by horse & carriage (especially from a local resident) and found their interactions to be compassionate and kindred.
I worry sometimes about bringing my daughter to attractions that feature animals, but you could absolutely sense that Jennifer cared deeply for Justin, and that Justin was a happy/healthy horse.
Jennifer was incredibly knowledgeable/personable and possessed excellent public speaking/delivery skills. You could tell she genuinely cared about history and the local lore that makes Beaufort special. THANK YOU!

Love love love this tour. We drove a little over an hour to Beaufort. Well worth the drive. This town is full of history and charm. Angus (the horse) was the best chauffeur and the guide (Liz) was experienced and full of knowledge. I was surprised to hear about so much history in this town. The houses were gorgeous and had interesting stories. We would recommend this tour to anyone.

We really enjoyed the tour. It was done at a leisurely pace riding through beautiful neighborhoods, and the narration given of the "lives" of these houses, their owners past and present and the history of Beaufort was both entertaining and informative. We've been to Beaufort before but this tour has enhanced our appreciation and knowledge of this little gem of a city. Highly recommended.

The horses were a joy. Our tour guide was sweet and knowledgeable & spoke up so we could hear. The stairs to enter the carriage were helpful. I wish we would have been placed forward in the cart since we made reservations in advance. The weather was moderate and breezy and was perfect for the tour.
