If I could give more than 5 circles, I would. Our captain was so enthusiastic and made sure we got to see all the wildlife in the area. This included 4 bald eagles, a stork, oyster catchers, pelicans, dolphins and even a baby dolphin! We walked on the beach on the island for about one hour which had its own ecosystem and cool shells to see. Our captain showed us sharks teeth!

This was a great tour! Tripp, our tour guide was knowledgeable and obviously passionate about the local ecosystem, shared info in a fun way, and made sure everyone had a good time on the boat. We saw lots of dolphins on the way there and back, and the island is beautiful. We had plenty of time to look for shells, walk the beach, etc. I will definitely come back to COA for future tours, kayaking etc.

We enjoyed a great tour on a beautiful afternoon. Captain Jacob was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and stopped to show and discuss local wildlife. In addition, the time on Morris Island with all its shells and beauty was a delightful way to spend an hour. It was perfect!

Such a great tour for so many reasons! Dallas was extremely knowledgeable & had a super fun personality! From birds (he was on it!), to finding PLENTY of dolphins, the ride out to Morris Island, great combination of information & fun! Kept thinking we need to come back w/our kids! Such a beautiful area and this was the BEST way to see & learn even more!

Great experience from start to finish. Everyone was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We went out on a nice and clean Carolina Skiff with a great captain. Lots of dolphins and other wildlife along the way and ended at Morris Island with the decommissioned lighthouse off the coast to see. Had an hour or so to walk the beach, look at shells and explore. Our tour had maybe 15 people ranging in age from a baby to seniors and it was perfect for all.

My husband and I did this on our last day if our honeymoon. It was honestly my favorite part of our whole trip. Captain Craig was super knowledgeable and I loved learning about the unique ecosystem. The boat ride was beautiful and we got to see a ton of dolphins. The island was breathtaking and we found a ton of awesome shells. This is a must!!!

Had a great time! Captain Jacob was a wonderful guide who was knowledgeable and full of humor. I took my two teenage boys and they really enjoyed themselves. We saw dolphins surfacing near our boat, as well as egrets, herons, and pelicans in their natural environment. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an authentic Charleston experience.

I took several tours on this trip to Charleston and this was by far my favorite.
The check-in process was very easy. The office is in a trailer at the end of a fairly rutted road, But it’s easy to find and to staff was very friendly! They have a dock with chairs that you can wait on and it’s a beautiful and relaxing view that you barely notice time passing.
The tour started on time and Our tour guide, Dallas was great! He knows his birds and he knows where to find dolphins! We were lucky and saw at least 20 dolphins on our way to the island and even got to experience two dolphins impact feeding off shoot the waterway. We spent about an hour on the island, but had to leave a little early due to a thunderstorm however, our stay on the island was spectacular. There are millions of seashells and even a beached sailboat to explore
I can’t say enough good things about my experience and I will be booking something else with them on my next trip to Charleston

Excellent and very interesting tour. The captain was amazingly knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful time. We saw many wildlife animals including packs of dolphins with cubs.

You can get about 150 feet away from the lighthouse , plenty close to get some good pics but you can’t get right up to it because it is surrounded by water.

There was nothing available for purchase aboard the boat. There is, however, a restaurant at the site where several people bought food and beer before and after the excursion. Food and drinks were not sold as take out, but you may bring your own provisions with you. We brought our own lunch and water and I would recommend doing so.

No, I don't believe there is any requirement that you must be more than one guest.The girls who run the phone lines and you will check in with are great, patient ,friendly and accommodating..

There was no strollers present during my tour. I would think you would have to stow it away in your car prior to take off.

No, there is not. There is a rest room inside the restaurant at the landing before you board, however, it is VERY bare bones. Shower curtains instead of stall doors for example. The restaurant is also what one may call a "dive" .
