This excursion is casual and fun! Capt. Dallas is well versed in the area and didn't have any problem answering lots of questions. Be aware that you cannot actually go along side the lighthouse...you look at it across water. (see pics) If you just want to get out on the water or get your feet in some sand, this is an excellent way to spend 2.5 hours.

My husband and I did the Morris Island Lighthouse Eco tour with Captain Tripp. It was a super windy and chilly day. We saw numerous dolphins as we made our way to the lighthouse. Captain Tripp was awesome and super knowledgeable about the area, the ecosystems, and all of the living species that we encountered. He would be a phenomenal science teacher! He has a very friendly and engaging personality. We were shocked at the amount of oysters that we saw once he explained what they were. The boat is a larger pontoon, but it goes pretty fast. The lighthouse was pretty. We found numerous sand dollars on the beach. We were able to spend about an hour and 20 minutes on the island, with the entire trip lasting about 3 hours. I would highly recommend this trip!!

This was an awesome trip. Staff were all so friendly. Captain Dallas was incredible. Would definitely recommend it.

Awesome tour!! Saw so many dolphins!! We had such a great time!! Tripp did an amazing job telling us the facts of the area as well as making it fun and exciting. Getting off the boat and exploring the sand was a highlight. We had ages from 72 down to 6. Highly recommend this tour!!!

Luke was very knowledgeable about the area making this trip definitely one that we would do again. Found starfish and large shells on Morris Island unlike any you can find on the busy beaches.

Captain Luke was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Saw several dolphins during the tour. Some even seem swam alongside our boat.

Book this at the last minute for me and my team. So glad we did, had a great time. Captain Joshua was adept at keeping his audience entertained and educated without overdoing corney jokes or tedious storytelling.

This was a great experience. Our guide, Josh was very knowledgeable and he engaged with all his passengers. We got to see a bird swoop down and take food form the mouth of a dolphin! What a joy! I would recommend this tour to all who love the outdoors.

We took an Uber! It’s a ways away from everything else so there’s not really a great option otherwise

There was nothing available for purchase aboard the boat. There is, however, a restaurant at the site where several people bought food and beer before and after the excursion. Food and drinks were not sold as take out, but you may bring your own provisions with you. We brought our own lunch and water and I would recommend doing so.

No, I don't believe there is any requirement that you must be more than one guest.The girls who run the phone lines and you will check in with are great, patient ,friendly and accommodating..

No, there is not. There is a rest room inside the restaurant at the landing before you board, however, it is VERY bare bones. Shower curtains instead of stall doors for example. The restaurant is also what one may call a "dive" .
