The crew made the experience enjoyable. Besides getting shrimp we got to see dolphins and different birds in the area. It was a little cool on the water but we dressed accordingly.

This was a great day. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable about the sea and its creatures and shared lots of stories and pictures while we were “trawling”… the shrimp we brought home and cooked was the freshest ever! Thank you Captain

Disappointed in sort of catch would like to have had more time seeing the catch. Poor catch of shrimp allgiven to one person.

Great experience on the water. My friend and I really enjoyed it. We learned a lot about how shrimp patrolling works and really enjoyed seeing the catch being brought up and all the other little creatures, Including the seagulls. The crew did a great job. And don’t worry, they don’t put you to work and you won’t get fish guts all over you

The guides did not hardly explain anything that was going on throughout the whole trip. Could’ve been way better for the money I spent.

Our tour was very informative and fun, regardless of not being able to bring up too many ocean critters. The catch was scarce yesterday, but that can be expected. No worries.

This was such an awesome time. We saw a lot of dolphins while we were trawling for shrimp. BUT the best part was the catch. We got to see many cool creatures caught in the net and we did catch shrimp!
Definitely a must while in HHI.

Great way to learn about shrimping and identifying the many different creatures caught in the nets. Only the shrimp are kept, all else is released back in the ocean. My favorite was a small butterfly ray (no stinging barb), soft as velvet and fun to handle. Dolphins even made an appearance but didn’t hang around. The crew was very engaging and explained the shrimping process in great detail. The Captain was especially personable. Shrimp are divided up at the end so whoever wanted could take their share home, making the cost of this excursion even less expensive. Great fun for kids and adults alike. Plenty of shade on the boat if you go on a hot day. Definitely recommend this trip. Taking the head off the shrimp is not for everyone, but it’s optional and we decided to leave it for the experts!

This was a fantastic tour! We learned so much about the local sea life and saw SO many dolphins too. Lucy was an amazing guide! Would definitely take this cruise again.
