Our group of four had a lovely cooking class in Stella’s home in Chania. Her place is spotless and she had us make gemitsa (stuffed zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant), chicken thighs, zucchini chips. She guides by what is fresh/in season. We enjoyed the experience and learned some new things. And we left stuffed.
We brought some wine from a local winery we went to and had the hotel arrange a taxi so it was all pretty simple.

Interesting class - we learned a lot about Cretan culture and food preparation. The class happened to have just us (2) so it was more of intimate experience. Stella, our host, a Cretan herself is very gracious and accommodating. The experience was a lot like a family dinner where we shared stories about ourselves. We love meeting and knowing Stella and look forward to food or wine tour with her!
