I decided to sign up to the trip solo as I’ve wanted to try Canyoning for a while. I was visiting Scotland for five days and thought this would be a great experience. It actually ended up being just myself doing the activity with Dean who was my guide.
The activity was so much fun, we did three jumps into the water from increasing heights, swam through a waterfall and slid down the river through smooth rocks.
I felt safe at all times, encouraged, an adrenaline rush and it’s an experience I wouldn’t forget.

Great day with excellent guides, Josh and Deano. Very safe and at the same time pushed us out of our comfort zones. Great fun albeit very cold 🥶 but well looked after and the extra kit helped.

Amazin trip down the river, the wet way, Stuart’s banter was amazing even b4 we left base…
Not for snowflakes as some of the jumps are daunting even for the screw loose among us.
Would of been 5 star but personally I think a wee dip to get used to the water temp, as a warm up b4 the 1st leap would be a good idea. Shane the water was a little tame, but our group found it exhilarating and a great laugh.

Wow, so this took all 6 of us aged 15, 19, 21, 23 & 50 years out of our comfort zones. None of us had done anything like this before. Clambering up rocks we would have just strolled past & jumping into streams we would not have realised possible. Ending with a slide into a waterfall, swimming behind then back out..... massive apologies to our experts for my occasional language but this truly took me out of my comfort zone🤪.... it was a day for the North West Posse with Deano from Runcorn as our expert & a family from Northwich/Widnes/Leeds & us lot!! Great time had by all..... the younger kids blew my mind, they were fearless!!! No pressure from anyone to do anything they didn't want, although I've no idea how I'd of got down from the last jump if I hadn't jumped!! If you're considering it just do it, but be prepared to test yourself.

We loved the full experience. Dean and Ruaridh were excellent at explaining each step from where changing rooms/toilets are located, getting the right equipment, safety chat and most importantly speaking to our group of young people at each stage of the activity to encourage them to overcome their fears and get the most out of the activity (Canyoning). You could see the fear in the young people, but you knew they were going to jump into the pool below as they were given the time to make their own decision. All of the young people were buzzing and delighted that they made the jumps - Most headed straight back up to jump again at the final pool. Many thanks to Dean, Ruaridh and the SSC Summer camp for making this possible. Hopefully, we will be back in the future for some rafting <3 Cheers Steven

Great day out with some family and my 12 year old son. Fantastic intro to canyoning not only for my son but a very nervous Dad! Dean and Kamal were great guides and felt safe and fun at all times. Built us up to some bigger jumps and my son done them all, I’ll hit the big one next time! Lived here for years and sadly never done this before but we will be back. Great experience, Thanks guys

An excellent experience. The instructions were clear and the jumps challenging but safe. We also did rafting on the same day. A great afternoon. Our guide was very informative and knew a lot about the wildlife observed whilst rafting.

Splash were awesome at creating the most memorable day for us. The guides are fabulous, fun, adaptable and extremely encouraging- which I needed to take the jump! We had the most enjoyable family day out pushing ourselves to the limits of adrenaline fuelled jumping!

The canyoning provided by the team at splash was excellent! Unfortunately I cannot remember our guides names, but we were made to feel safe and super capable throughout the trip! It was high adrenaline from the start ending with a super 9m jump, so certainly not for the faint hearted. We scrambled through some beautiful scenery throughout our adventure.
We canyoned in April and were double wet suited, as well as wet suit jackets, socks and hats along with buoyancy aids and helmets to keep us safe. All kit was clean and well kept. I think Splash are great value and the trips are really worth it. Thank you Spalsh!
