孟菲斯和南方音乐的伟大历史。有趣的展览，有很多音乐听。我们花了将近2个小时，如果不是博物馆关门的话还会待更久。

The good thing about all the “tourist list of things to do” is that you learn new stuff at all of them!
Great service from the front of house team today.
10 minute intro video, then self guided tour round the museum with earphones that you can chose what you listen to yourself!
If you like juke boxes there are lots of great ones to look at.
Very clean and well kept. Would recommend a visit.
As an addition the T-shirts here in the shop are better quality than we have seen elsewhere.

This museum was not originally on our list of museums to see but because of New Years some of the other spots were closed. However, we were pleasantly surprised! The location is super convenient, right beside the FedEx center and Beale Street. At the beginning of the museum there is a short intro film and then you get to go around and look at all the exhibits. The audio guide is super helpful and you get to play many songs from the period. Definitely recommend!

An awesome step back in time from the days of sitting on grandma's porch with homemade instruments to the days of jukeboxes and radio broadcasting. This self guided with audio listening gives an awesome prospective of a broad range of music history throughout the years.

showed up 5 minutes late because of previous tour ran over. wouldn't recommend no human touch. No refund policy. My business won't repeat .

The staff was fantastic and very friendly. As she took the time to take pictures of us. The museum was excellent and we cos have spent more time there if necessary. Just listening to the stories and music helped us remember where we came from musically and the sense of friendship that is not really seen today. Do not miss this if in the area

An extremely interesting museum. The handset giving you so much information means you can tour through all the memorabilia at your own pace. If you are into music, this is one museum you should not miss if you are in Memphis.

Up and around Beale Street, and this is close by next to the FedEx Forum. Really friendly staff who are polite and want to help. Starting with a short video, this museum houses a lovely collection of memorabilia from suits and records, to old Wurlitzers. Good place to visit if you like soil and blues.

I liked this the best of the downtown museums and wish I had more time. It was the first museum that I visited and it set the table for the rest. It went further back in time. It gave the flavor of the poor folk that found ways to make music and use almost anything for an instrument. There was an opportunity to listen to many old songs and some that were more recognizable as they got to more current artists. They were all good but this museum was my favorite.
