Thief and liar
We were the victim of gross incompetence. We reserved a vehicle in Texas via wisecars and once arrived there it took over 1h30 to finalize the rental with the agency represented by wisecars (Fox) because they did not know that a French license was valid for life. After which they refused to rent the vehicle to us because we planned to leave the state of Texas and this was not planned according to their terms of contract (we had no information on this subject) we had to rent elsewhere and more expensive because a last minute rental costs money. We turned against wisecars for an explanation, and they told us that we could only go to certain states (Louisiana, Arkansas) of the states that we had scheduled in our trip and specified to the Fox agency which it was. , refused the rental. Except that for wisecars, we had the right to go to its neighboring states of Texas. We requested a refund, and wisecars only refunded us 75% of our rental under the pretext that they have fees and they can't lose money. Except that we are in no way responsible for the non-rental of the vehicle, and what's more, the Fox agency even gave us a written certificate explaining that it refused to rent us. For your information, we also had a certified certificate in English of our driving license (this is just our 7th trip to the USA, and the only one for which vehicle rental posed a problem "never had a problem with traditional rental companies who have a storefront")
The responsibility for non-rental is therefore not ours since we meet all the conditions, namely remaining in neighboring states (we even kept our vouchers which prove our different places of accommodation) and despite this, absolute refusal to wisecars to reimburse us in full.
This is a good manifesto, because in addition they recognize in our email exchanges that the authorized states are those that we had to visit. We have decided to initiate a procedure to obtain a full refund, and to see the reimbursement of the difference in the rental price and for the moral and financial damage.
It is unacceptable to take us hostage following incompetence on the part of the agency on site, and wisecars
I do not recommend renting from them because their priority, according to them, remains their financial balance (we have all the written records of what I am saying)
It is better to pay a little more and go to rental companies with a storefront

This company delivered us one car (we agreed to 5). This was supposed to be a gift for my groomsmen on my wedding day. A few weeks later, they charged my card ~$21,000 (definitely not an amount we agreed upon). Remember we only received one…..Steer clear of this company.
