The experience was great. Our family of three had never surfed before. Our 13yr old daughter loved it. I tried but kept slipping off the board. I was done when the board landed on my head. The instructor was kind enough to let my husband take the remainder of my lesson. The instructor has a lot of patience. Thanks for helping us make memories that will last a lifetime! Well worth the money.

The instructor has a mild spirit and absolutely loves instructor customers to become surfers. Works extremely hard to get you up on the board and catch a wave. We have lived around beaches from the east and west coach and could not expect a better instructor. If you want to surf this is the place to do it.

I signed up my niece (21) and great nephew (7) for lessons, they had a blast. The instructor was very attentive and calm and had both of the kids up and surfing in no time. I didn't think you could actually surf in Galveston but you can! Definitely will be back and highly recommend!

Looking for an adventure? I highly recommend Good Vibes Surfing Lessons. Instructor was calm, knowledgeable and made sure that all 4 of us in my family group was successfully surfing. We had no prior experience and had a blast. Ages in my group: 41, 16, 15, 12. However, big tip.... don’t get wound up in having so much fun that you forget to put on or reapply your sunscreen. (Ouch—sunburned).

Lenzy is knowledgeable, patient, and absolutely knows what he is doing. He knows how to read the waves, give direction, and give you advice for adjustments when needed. With a little persistence he will get you up and on a wave. Not everyone in our group was quite up to the challenge but we had a blast nonetheless (ages 39, 33, 32, 30). We would definitely recommend!!

We visited Galveston for Spring Break with two teenagers and wanted something fun for them to do. A surfing lesson with Lenzy was perfect! There was plenty of communication prior to the lesson to ensure we had a day/time when the surf would be good, Lenzy was laidback, friendly, and instructive, and both boys managed to stand up and ride at leasr a couple of times. I would highly recommend booking a lesson!

I have never surfed before and it was a good feeling. You will learn it very quickly. Due to the weather and then dwan I had only one hour but for me it was enough due to I am not so sporty. Everything was good. Fit your swimsuits befor arriving otherwise you have to go to a public restroom. Your surfing guide waits at the beach. Water was still warm in november. Contact was friendly and the owner is very flexible with scheduling.
Kann ich nur empfehlen, jeder sollte einmal in den Usa surfen. Der Besitzer ist fexibel und stellt sich auch auf Bewegungslegastheniker wie mich gut ein. Danach ist man glücklich aber k.o. Empfehlung: VORHER umziehen, es gibt sonst nur eine öffentliche Toilette vor Ort, da es kein shop dort gibt.

We had to reschedule a few times due to weather, but the owner was great at communicating and very flexible with scheduling. My 8, 10, 12 yr old took the lessons and LOVED it! I was concerned about safety b/c it was a red flag but the instructors didn't let them get far and were continually giving instruction on the beach and in the water. It was a great value for 2 hours and the kids didn't want to stop. All of them were up and surfing by the end of the session. Highly recommend doing this.

The boys had never surfed before! Bird was knowledgeable, patient and easy for the boys (18 & 15) to talk too. Weather was questionable but Good Vibes was flexible and very accommodating to make sure we could give surfing a try. If you or family have been wanting to try I highly recommend Bird at Good Vibes!

We are the LOL's (Little Old Ladies). two of us want to take your surfing lessons!! (65 and 66 years old). l6 of us are spending the week in galveston 10/19-10/26. we two are looking at the 22nd of October... do you see an issue? when i hear back and if you're good to go, ill make our online reservations!!
