Vanessa is the best foodie guide ever!! Her enthusiasm and engaging personality made it such a memorable experience
She welcomed us to 4 different restaurants and they were all local spots with a variety of diverse dishes! She also added interesting history and fun facts about Houston along the way. I would highly recommend for people of all ages and backgrounds
Just would not eat before hand. I made that mistake thinking these portions were going to be small but I was Very wrong, it was a lot of food

Absolutely with the $70 and more. Our guide Venessa was lovely and passionate about Houston. She also had all the connections at the restaurants to make it an enjoyable experience at each stop

Vanessa was a great tour guide. She communicated loudly and clearly even when the city got noisy. She was very pleasant, positive , and knowledgeable. The food stops were tasty and we were all pretty full/satisfied by the end. Overall the tone was fun and we had many laughs with other tour attendees.

We just finished the Food Tour of Downtown Houston with Tunnel Access… and WOW. Our tour guide, Vanessa, was so knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. She took the time to not only show us the restaurants, but to show us interesting spots, murals, and historic locations between the restaurants. She provided an experience that only a true Houstonian could. 10/10 tour guide!!
The restaurants - also a complete 10/10. It’s hard to pick a favorite. Each restaurant absolutely shined in their individual cuisines (and I say that as a very well traveled “foodie.”) We will surely be revisiting these restaurants to try their other dishes. And don’t get me started on the amount of food that we got. This is NOT a “small bite” tour. This is a “I am going to need a box to take the rest of this food home” tour.
Overall, it was an amazing experience. I would recommend this tour to both locals and tourists. You won’t find a better tour in Houston for this price. Just book it!

We had an outstanding time. I thought the food was just the right amount and more than we expected compared to other tours. Im happy we did this food tour with Guide Vanessa, she puts a lot of energy and effort into making sure you understand the food options and each restaurant stop. Each stop was unique and different that the last, we ended up taking the strawberry cheesecake and pasta back to the airBNB with us. Would do this tour again with family members and friends

Delicious Food. I've done similar tours in Dallas, Nashville Denver etc. This one was among my favorite and had the best guide and had the largest "Texas-sized" portions. Our guide Julie made an enjoyable experience a memorable one. Thank you Julie!

This Houston food tour was one of the highlights of our anniversary weekend! Vanessa is incredibly professional and knowledgable about Houston. The food was also delicious and I love how closely Vanessa worked with each of the restaurant stops You could really tell she has been doing this for a long time. I would recommend any tour with Vanessa for visitors or residents of Houston!

Enjoyed this evening very much, Vanessa is among the best guides I have found. Her stories, knowledge and food choices are a delight. We ate a lot, took some fun photos, and made some new friends even! Probably my favorite tour I've done in Houston although the tunnel tour is a close runner-up!!

We loved this tour. The guide Vanessa was excellent and made us feel welcomed at each stop. Each restaurant had a different atmosphere and type of food ranging from a bar-esque type of restaurant, local theater spot and then eating inside the tunnels. We had ample time to sit at each restaurant and enjoy drinks too. ONE TIP: Do not eat before or you will be tapping out by the 2nd restaurant, this was some of the largest portions I've seen on food tours and we've done them in plenty of cities around the world

Hello,
On the downtown tunnel tour (in 2021) we serve Latin, Asian, and American-European cuisines. The plates we serve all depend if there are any dietary restrictions/food allergies. We do ask for our guests to contact us before booking if anyone in their party does not eat chicken, beef, pork, and milk/ cheese products. We serve about 7-8 different tastings/small plates.
