what a guide, full of fun and most importantly Island Knowledge.
Plenty time at stops to soak in the Island.
A tour that was worth every penny.
We have used him before and we will use him again next visit.

Fabulous Tour -made our holiday!
We went out twice with Diogo - both the West and the East.
Diogo was a safe driver. He adapted the tour to our personal preferences. He took us to lots of lovely places and we had time to wander round, shop, eat and explore and he would always be waiting for us. On route he would tell us about the views and Madeira's history and culture.
On the East tour the weather was very bad so Diogo took us somewhere else in the afternoon and we had the best time.
On the second tour Diogo took us everywhere we wanted to go, and more, and then he dropped us at the airport for our flight home!
The car is very comfortable and the Madeira roads are smooth and offer great views.
We would not hesitate to recommend Diogo to anyone for a private personalised tour. Thank you from Susan and Chris.

Riccardo was an excellent and very informative driver who was very careful in the mountainous roads. The Mercedes Vito van was very clean and roomy for our group of 4. The places visited gave us a real feel for Madeira and its spectacular sites.

We had an absolutely outstanding experience with Madeira Taxi Tours by Diogo, and we cannot recommend his service highly enough. From the very first enquiry, Diogo was incredibly efficient, professional, and courteous, responding promptly to confirm our collection time and location. As our hotel was outside Funchal, he kindly arranged to pick us up for a very reasonable extra cost.
From the moment we met him, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm, instantly setting the tone for a fantastic day ahead. Diogo’s knowledge of Madeira’s history, culture, and landscapes is truly remarkable, and his English is impeccable. Diogo was an excellent guide throughout our private tour of the West side of Madeira. Hi took us to all the main sites and provided excellent commentary and insight into history, economy and geography of this side of the island. We stopped at several places for photos, coffee and lunch breaks at our discretion.
A wonderful day trip and we highly recommend Diogo as an excellent guide and driver who is extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

We booked the West side tour as well as the East side tour & our airport transfers with Diogo and we can only recommend him. Diogo is an excellent driver & guide who speaks perfect English. Thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Luis our driver and guide was extremely personable, passionate and informative throughout. He was a very careful driver and we felt completely safe in his hands.
Would recommend this tour company and would definitely use them again if we return to Madeira in the future.

We had a great tour with Diogo. He texted us the day before our arrival to confirm and picked us up at our cruise ship. We visited many wonderful places customizing the itinerary before to see everything we were interested in.
This is what we saw:
Monte
- Mount tobboggan ride
- jesus christ statue
- pico dos barcelos
- nuns valley
- cabo girao
- camara de lobos
In camara de lobos, a small fishing village, we had lunch at Diogo's recommended restaurant based on fish and sangria. All really good. I really recommend fixing with him for excursions to Funchal.

I know this tour is not wheelchair accessible but my father can walk a little though does need a wheelchair for longer distances, would you take it in your vehicle to use at stops?
