Die Abholung von Hotel hat sehr gut funktioniert. Da wir eine kleine Gruppe waren, sind wir mit einem großen PKW zum Startpunkt gefahren. Das Wetter war zwar etwas diesig, aber dadurch waren glücklicherweise kaum Menschen dort unterwegs. Es war das perfekte Wanderwetter.
Der Guide Jorge war super sympathisch und witzig und er hatte viele interessante Informationen über den Wald. Es war ein super Ausflug

We had a great day hiking with Jorge at Rabacal (Levada das 25 Fontes / Levada do Risco). He is knowledgeable, very friendly and always goes above and beyond to deliver the best adventure.

Great way to get to know Madeira’s nature and history. We went to Rabaçal and the 25 Fountain’s Waterfall. Jorge is an excellent guide he knows the area by heart and he can give you recommendations about where to go next or which restaurants to visit. I can not recommend it enough!

I had a great day of hiking with Maderia Mountain Tours. Jorje was really knowledgeable on the area, local nature and was able to tailor the tour based on weather and what I wanted to see. Highly recommended :)

Jorge was the best guid who I ever had!!!!The tour was amazing !Was sunny day, the view was beautiful and Jorge could answer for all of my questions(from the plants through the economy)

We had a great hike with Jorge. It was entirely tailored to our needs (ladies in our 50’s & 60’s). Amazing views and very informative. We did a 3 hour tour but Jorge was so flexible allowing us to stop for coffee and a local bar for traditional poncha.
We will return and definitely do another hike with Jorge.

Fantastic hiking tour to Rabacal and the 25 fountains. Picked up on time in a small group which is far better and more personal than the large crowded groups you see with some tour companies. The guide Jorge was very friendly and experienced with hiking, being a trail runner, and also knew a lot about the island and the different flora he pointed out along the hike. Highly recommend this company.

This activity was provided by Madeira Mountain Tours (which we booked through Get Your Guide).
Jorge, the owner of this relatively new company who was born in Madeira, both drove and accompanied us on the whole hike giving us interesting facts about the rock formations, plants and history of the area and about the Island in general.
The Rabacal area is beautiful with all the waterfalls and fountains.
We couldn't have wished for a better day.
Afterwards we booked a second tour with Jorge directly, this time to the Larano area in the South East with fantastic coastal views followed by a Levada walk into Machico.
We would highly recommend Madeira Mountain Tours to anyone seeking a personalised and quality hiking experience in Madeira.
