Our tour guide Brian made this is very enjoyable and Exciting experience. IMHO the best ATV trails glad I came from Tennessee to West Virginia.

With their technical knowledge of the machines, and geographical knowledge of the New River Gorge, these guys knocked it out of the park. With gorgeous trails, breathtaking views, high quality, powerful ATVs, and mudhole after mudhole, I can't think of a more fun way to get my wife and 9-year old filthy! A truly high quality tour.

I highly recommend this ATV tour. The pace was just right and our Guide Brian took very good care of us!! We went through several mud pits so be prepared to get dirty! Tons of fun!!

HANDS DOWN THE BEST ATV TOUR WE HAVE EVER TAKEN!!!
I knew there would be some mud involved but mud hole after mud hole, followed by steep climbs, tight turns, and exhilarating terrains, mixed with pure beauty of the West Virginia forest biome. This tour was worth every penny and Esther was an incredible guide! We’re so glad we had her, and next time we come through this area we will definitely do this again and request the amazing Esther as our guide!

We rented a side by side and one atv today! This was an awesome trip! Brian was an excellent guide. He even took the time to stop and take a video of us coming through a big mud hole. It was a blast! This should be on your to do list if you visit Oak Hill, West Virginia. Can’t thank the wonderful staff enough!! We even got free stickers as a bonus!!!

We used New River ATV to kick off our West Virginia adventure and they did NOT disappoint. Booking and check-in for our ride was super smooth and easy. Very safety first approach when preparing the group on how to use the vehicles and what to expect on the trail. Josh and Sarah were super guides and really provided an elevated experience. The ride was fun and exciting, expect to get a little dirty and wet. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and the scenic vista/overlook was truly a one of a kind view of the New River Gorge area. I highly recommend New River ATV!

If you’re on the fence about taking this tour, do yourself a favor and book it now! Show up 30 minutes prior to your tour time. We did the afternoon tour (3:30 pm) and didn’t realize we were supposed to be early. The staff was great (very understanding), but the fact is we put them behind schedule. You can fill out your waiver online prior to coming which saves time. The first 30 minutes or so are spent getting fitted for your helmet, discussing safety/the protocols, and familiarizing yourself with the machine. The machine was new, clean, and very well-maintained. They very obviously take a lot of pride in having the best machines to offer. To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect out of the tour itself. I have extensive ATV off-road experience and assumed it would be the cookie-cutter follow me at 5 MPH tour. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Our guide, Josh, did the best job ever at letting us experience everything the area had to offer. I’m sure all of the guides are great, but I can’t recommend him enough based on our personal experience. With hundreds of miles of beautiful trails to choose from you’ll see plenty of water/mud, hilly/rocky terrain, tight turns, dips, climbs, and all at varying speeds tailored perfectly to the particular terrain. We were most satisfied with our adventure and are already planning a return trip! Thanks so much again, Josh!

A must do! Josh was a great guide and the whole tour exceeded our expectations. This course is thrilling for everyone, experienced or not. You've got mud, inclines, declines, speed, challenges, and a break that offers an absolutely gorgeous view of the gorge. Also the UTVs were top notch- rode nice and smooth and handled everything that we did with ease. Our 2 hour tour absolutely flew by! We hope to go back next summer and do it again with our kids.

Safety and fun do coexist!!! Rented a side by side on 8.5.21 for a 3:30 pm New River Gorge family tour with Josh as our guide. Impressed with the pre-trip review of the "how to's" and "what not to do's" of handling the machine, conduct and expectations of participants. Not only were these explained, but the reasons why such rules exist were given. New River ATV takes excellent care of their investment in these machines, and in the customer, too! Mudholes, bumps, gutters, steep hills and some tight maneuvering around trees made for a fun afternoon. If everyone keeps up and follows the rules, Josh picks up speed. He took the time on the trail to stop and inform each ATV driver of the obstacle ahead and how to handle it safely. The brief stop at the overlook was gorgeous. Perfect photo opportunity. An added bonus of the "wild" side of WV was a bear running full speed blasted across the trail a few feet in front of Josh while we were riding at a pretty good clip. WOW! Definitely use the GPS coordinates to find New River ATV. Support this small business!
