I had a great time learning about Cheyenne and Frontier Days as I passed through! The employees are very knowledgeable and gave me additional ‘must see’ ideas while I was visiting.

If you enjoy Wyoming and rodeos, you will enjoy this museum. Plenty of rich historic items. Reasonably priced, staff friendly and helpful.

Beautiful little museum. We wondered in before the rodeo they had a wonderful art and photography show going on. Their is a interactive western room for small children to visit with a parent. The staff was exceptionally friendly in the museum and the store. Great little place.

A great museum , the exhibits are fabulous and the staff is awesome. To see what people traveled in to cross the plains gave glimpse into the challenges and the desire to travel. A staff member took time to share with us about the carriages and some of the features we might have missed. Really great experience.

This quaint museum is a great stop if you're into Old West transportation! There were tons of buggies, carriages, and turn-of-the-century automobiles inside, all of which were beautifully restored. There were also several exhibits describing how Frontier Days came to be and its significance to the town and region.
Vehicles aren't really my cup of tea (I found the museum a bit boring) which is why I gave it an average rating. To a vehicle connoisseur, however, this is a must-see!

On the grounds of the Frontier Days complex, this western museum highlights the significance of the Frontier Days celebration to this town. Past rodeo and beauty queens are given a place of honor in an almost hall of fame style. It also houses one of the largest collections of horse drawn wagons and buggies in the west. Also included is a small collection of western art. A MUST see while in town to help a visitor appreciate this town's civic pride in its western heritage.

What a great place! Even with Covid, the museum was open and provided a fun & educational afternoon for my fiancee and myself. They took health & safety seriously, which made for a comfortable environment. The collection of wagons & carriages is amazing, as well as lots of history and memorabilia from rodeo & The Old West. The videos playing were a great look into pro rodeo as well! Definite must do when in Cheyenne.

What a great local museum. We were the only ones in the building on this frosty day so we took our time and read everything! Great videos, memorabilia and of course, the buggy collection is amazing. So much rodeo and Cheyenne history.. we really enjoyed our afternoon.

First and foremost, the gal at the front desk would bring me back all on her own. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, but by golly she’s spunky! Not being particularly “into” the whole Western thing, we came here because it’s what ya do when in Cheyenne - we’re consummate tourists. I enjoyed the maaaany carriages, and learning a bit about rodeo events. There were no children in the kids area when we visited, so we availed ourselves of the opportunity to dress up with the bonnets and take funny pictures on the toy horses. Of course, we put everything back away where we got it from! Good museum with awesome staff!
