Awesome tour for the family!

Colin, our tour guide, was amazing! Kept our kids engaged the whole time. He had a neat telescope that allowed us to get up close pics of wildlife. Lunch was locally curated and delicious! We had a wonderful time and seen so much in a day.

Incredible Yellowstone Tour

Truly a first class experience in every way. Door to door service in a clean, comfortable, roomy van. Hot beverages and bakery muffins for breakfast, gourmet snacks throughout the trip, and the lunch! Lunch was a custom made sandwich from an amazing local shop, along with house made potato chips and freshly baked cookies. Of note was the company policy to leave nothing behind, so everything was packed in reusable tins with cloth napkins. Our amazing guide, Colin, was also our attentive server.
Speaking of Colin, he was extraordinarily knowledgeable about so many topics! Flora, fauna, geography, history, local color and more. He was also very receptive to questions and requests. A small detail, but important, was his considerate and well timed information about restroom stops.
I cannot recommend Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris more highly. Whether you are a first timer or a repeat Yellowstone visitor, you will learn more and see more than you can imagine.

We had the best time on our full day safari tour of Yellowstone! Our guide Jordan was so knowledgeable and kind. We saw Elk, Moose, mule deer, proghorn, a ton of bison, and of course all the highlighted spots at Yellowstone.

Our favorite part of the trip was when we stopped for lunch; a bison was laying down just 50 yards from our picnic spot. We watched him sleep while we ate, it was incredible.

The falls were another highlight of our day as well.

We definitely recommend Jordan for your guide, he’s lived here local for many years and he knows so much about Wyoming. He’s super passionate about this area and the wildlife.

Be prepared for strong weather changes if you come this time of year. We started our day at 38 degrees and ended it in the upper 60s. I wish I would have brought shorts for the last half of our day!

Also, be prepared for very long car rides. Yellowstone is so huge; so to see everything it’s a lot of road time in the car.

Overall, loved this trip and would recommend to everyone all ages.

Arrogant guide who does not explain what to expect

If we had a better guide it would have been an amazing experience since the nature and wildlife were incredible. It was our first activity upon arrival from 0 altitude and we were told we wouldn’t have any strenuous activity on high altitude, but our guide thought it would be good if we hike to almost 8k altitude to two waterfalls in Yellowstone park while he was chilling at the parking lot, and not giving us good instructions about directions. He also persuaded us not to go and see the biggest Yellowstone attraction, Grand Prismic Spring cause it was “too crowded “ and he would show us smaller ones so he could take pics for himself. His name is Colin.

I'm sorry you did not enjoy your tour. Our goal is to make every guest happy and satisfied with their experience with us. You and your spouse were on a public Yellowstone Tour with 4 others. Public tours can be a challenge for everyone in the group, guests and guides, as all tours are customized based on guests' desires, which means decisions need to be made with consensus, which leads to people not always getting what they want/need. In this example, everyone was asked multiple times if they wanted to see Grand Prismatic. One group wanted to avoid the crowds, the other agreed, and you didn't voice opposition, which I know can be difficult to do, so the decision was made to avoid the crowds at GP. I've talked with the guide, and we have devised new strategies to create a safe place for people to voice their opinions. We also talked about the hike. It is a 20-minute hike that most guests prefer to do on their own as it’s a time to be on their own a little bit; it’s a short trail with great views and no splits in the trail. The elevation gain is 80ft. We are willing to join the guests if the guests ask. In this case, there was a vehicle issue with a cooler blocking a door lock that needed to be dealt with, so the guide fixed that while the group walked together. When the guide resolved the issue, he walked in the opposite direction and met the guests. I'm sorry you felt unsupported on the hike. We have discussed and have new strategies for evaluating comfortability and desire to hike without the guide.

The Best Way To See Yellowstone With Your Family

Wow. This is an amazing experience. Our guide Colin was so much fun. He took us to see Prism Lake, Old Faithful, and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Along the way we pulled over a much of times when Colin would spot wildlife. Having someone with us to show us the sights was 100% the way to go. You would be crazy not to do this kind of tour. This is a once in a lifetime experience and I’m glad we didn’t take any chances and did this the right way. Thanks Colin, yinz was a class act n’at.

Amazing tour and Tour Guide

We had Colin Boeh as our Guide. We got to see everything Colin mentioned. Geysers, hot springs, animals, waterfalls, the Grand Canyon of the park and the lakes. He went out of his way to turn around and make extra stops to ensure we saw as much wildlife as possible and his extreme knowledge and history of the park was incredible. Highly recommended.

Great private tour of Yellowstone

We only had one day to see Yellowstone, but our guide made sure that we had all of the highlights. Dave was our guide. He shared his wealth of knowledge about Wyoming, the wildlife, the natural wonders such as the geysers in a fun, but very educational way. He made our 2 Hour Dr. back-and-forth from Wyoming, pleasant and enjoyable. We wish that we saw a little more wildlife. I would suggest that when you start your tour, you are very specific about the things you want to see and spend more time on. I would have preferred if we could have been in contact with our guide the day before to share with him our interests and preferences. But I recommend this outfit and guide without reservations.

Best thing we did on our trip to Yellowstone! We learned so much, saw so many animals & amazing sights and even got great tips for the few days we’d spend by ourselves in the park!

An Experience to Remember

We spent the day Touring Yellowstone with our guide Jedediah, and another guide who was as familiar with the park as he was, but who was just starting with the company (she did snow-cat tours in Yellowstone during the winter).
They took turns driving, and pointing out all their favorite spots along the way. There is NO WAY we ever would have been able to see what we saw in a single day without going on this tour.
The timing of everything they chose for us to see was perfect, and even timed the bathroom breaks. We were right there up front and center when Old Faithful erupted, and saw LOTS of other geysers with no real eruption schedule, go off all around us. The experiences were magical.
We saw moose, fox, elk, bison and more, and learned SO much about everything in the park. There was not one thing these guides didn't want to talk about, and know like they had written the books about it. In fact, it seemed they had both read all the books about the history and geology of Yellowstone, and quoted passages here and there.
At one point, we had a really nice picnic, in an out of the way spot, and there were plenty of snacks and drinks to keep us happy all day. I thought a 12 hour trip would be too much, but we spent a lot of time outside and walking, and it really flew by.
Jed was happy to take our pictures any time we asked, and he just could not have been nicer and more accommodating.
This tour was perfect, and WELL worth the money and time. I feel like we saw so much, and couldn't possibly have done more, without ever feeling rushed in any way. We could have stayed anywhere as long as we wanted but Jed kept it all moving along, and loved it all just as much as we did. We had the 2 guides, and us and one other couple so it was a small group and it felt like we were all experiencing it all together in the same way. Thanks to you all for a once-in-a-lifetime experience my wife and I will never forget!
