Even though we had route planned our visits to the Black Hills, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, the information that was given with great humour was excellent. It felt that you had your own personal guide in the vehicle. Set up was easy and never really missed a beat. Excellent addition to any road trip, cannot wait to purchase more tours for our up-and-coming visits.

We were really glad we bought the audio driving tour! It was very helpful and informative. It tells you what is coming and we drove up a particular road at his suggestion. The view was amazing!

So easy to connect to our CarPlay. We did not start from the beginning but it knew exactly where we were at all times. Gave lots of information about the area. Let us know when the next stop was coming up and what we were going to see. Gave options as well. Wish there was one for all areas in the US.

Not easy to install. Not easy to get it started. We struggled for a long time. When we finally got it it was great. But then after awhile we were listening it was very interesting but it sometime got a little long winded.

We provide a tutorial video and detailed instructions to help make the process easier. We recommend downloading and setting up the tour in advance to avoid any last-minute complications. We're glad to hear it worked out after a while and that you found some points interesting. We'd love to hear more about which specific locations and stories you found too long, as your input helps us improve.

Save $$$ and get this self guided tour. It is spot on with GPS. Wherever you decide to go on the tour the GPS picks you up and begins correct narration. All the information is spot on. We used it for Custer State Park, Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Minuteman missile sites, Wall, SD. Five stars.

This was so AWESOME!! Not only did it give us directions but it gave us interesting facts and suggestions! The Black Hills area, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and the Badlands were beautiful but learning all about every place and points along the way made it even more enjoyable and exciting. Would definitely recommend this. Well worth the price! Great tour guide without the high price and you can do it at your own pace.

For sure you can, the audio will pick up any where along the route. We kept forgetting to turn ours on but you will love it. The narrations are informative and humorous and the little side stories are great additions.

Unfortunately, most places do not allow dogs inside the grounds or on the trails (Mt. Rushmore definitely does not.) You can walk your dog outside at the Crazy Horse Memorial and in the picnic areas at the foot of Devil's Tower.

Our audio tours can be used over as many days as you like, for as many years as you like (all purchases include all future tour updates as well). This particular tour includes three suggested itineraries, which can be done in two days - or three or more days is ideal. You'll find all of the trip planning information free in the app (free to download from the App Store or Play Store) before purchasing any tours.

Is this basically just an app that you purchase and download? Then when I arrive in Rapid City I will just start the app from my location in Rapid City and do each of the tours from there?
When it talks about bookings and things like that it just makes it confusing for me anyway. Just curious how it all works or what you're really purchasing. It seems like it would be some thing I would do if I have my rental car and I wanna do my own drive and spend time at different locations at my own pace. Then pick up with your app as I drive to the next spot. Is this correct?

Hi Sam, thanks for your question and apologies for the delayed response as we aren't notified of these questions. You can join anywhere along the tour route, and the commentary will play at the next tour audio point you drive through. All three of the suggested scenic driving loops can be started from downtown Rapid City, or you can also join the tour from the West or East on I-90. No matter where you're driving along the tour route, commentary will play automatically based on your GPS location in the direction that you're driving with interesting stories, information and optional stops along the way.
