What an amazing adventure! It was beautiful
Absolutely great tour by boat - we are taken out to a large sandbar where we can practice snorkeling. That was great for me since I’m not a good swimmer and I’ve been snorkeling before in Mexico which was much rougher waters but it was years ago. We stopped by a shallow sandbar, and I had a chance to practice that helped a lot. Making sure my mask fits snuggly. The water would come in. The hardest part for me was that there were a few too many people. There were two boats docked together next to each other, and it didn’t help that most of the people were Japanese and we couldn’t communicate. Just a few too many people swimming in front of me flipping their feet in my face as I struggle to stay calm and very deep water. But all in all it was very fun. That was only a small part of it.
It’s a family run business and everybody was incredibly fun and friendly. They’re all young ,fun and beautiful people. Food was served and you could purchase beer & wine along with free nonalcoholic drinks. A beer did give me the courage to swim /snorkel with my life jacket on! The staff was great helping s every step of the way.

The boat crew and Captain Robin did a great job with our tour this week! Their instructions were clear and they were super friendly. Robin went out of his way to make sure we saw turtles and gorgeous fish during our snorkel session, and we had a blast playing around the sandbar as well. Plenty of snacks and drinks available, too!

One of the must do’s on Oahu!! The views are to die for. The crew was absolutely fantastic. You just can’t go wrong here. The snorkeling along the reef was superb, lots of turtles and reef life.

Very organized and beginner friendly! Recommend to everyone who are visiting Honolulu and sand bar. Crew members are very welcoming and make sure everyone is having a good time.

Capt Bruce’s team was professional yet fun, relaxed and approachable. Right away I felt like I was in the hands of caring professionals who would assure that our experience was fun, interesting and safe. We had a really windy, fairly rough water day, but we still paddled and snorkeled, saw fish and sea turtles and just had an incredible day on the water. Highly recommend!

Fantastic! We went out Saturday morning. I think we were with Joe, Dan and Jeff? I’m not sure about the names but they were great and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. We got a chance to see several sea turtles and lots of fish. They pointed out lots of things to us and the captain went out of his way to make me and my young first time snorkeler feel safe and have a good experience. After snorkeling we had a chance to paddle board and play on the sand bar. Great way to spend the morning. Big thanks to our crew they were terrific we had a great time.

This was hands sound my favorite part of my Hawaii trip! Hosanna and the rest of the crew were incredible. While snorkeling, we got to see several tropical fish, and at least a dozen sea turtles. The crew was extremely friendly and accommodating and offers snacks and nonalcoholic drinks on board, I recommend doing the early tour as the turtles and fish are more active during this time.

We took the trip the very first time and we were disappointed. The instructions for snorkeling were very confusing. I expected them to give me more details about snorkeling and other activities that they offer. First, we couldn’t even hear the girl on the boat telling us about the day. Please get a speaker. Secondly, the instructions were given briefly on the boat. After we land and had our way to the beach, we weren’t sure exactly what activities they offer and what is it that we can do. The staff were there, but not very helpful in giving directions. Snorkeling was rushed to everyone and they made it seem like if we missed it then that would be it and we won’t be able to do it again even though they went in twice at two different times. But due to the poor direction, we didn’t know what to expect and what to do. I suggest to the team to be supportive and give detailed direction to families who have not been there and their first time. They should’ve known that already since people visit them from all over the world. It was a big disappointment and waste of money for us. I don’t recommend this company.

This is the best activity in Hawaii! If you can only do one thing while visiting Oahu, do this one. We did a private speed boat tour with Kekoa and it was absolutely wonderful! This is hands down the best tour that we’ve ever done. Kekoa was great! He went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome, safe, and have a good time. He also shared with us interesting facts about the island and the culture. The water was beyond beautiful, there were a lot of water activities, and we saw a lot of turtles while snorkeling. We will definitely be return customers! Great job Captain Bruce for having such a great tour! I’d give our day with Kekoa 100 stars if I could!

We met our tour operators at the designated spot at 6:45am for our 7:00am departure. Captain Bruce had two boats going out at the same time and we got the blue boat, along with all of the Japanese speaking patrons, who benefited from crewmember Karen's fluent Japanese. The boat ride was very smooth and pleasant and all 3 crew were so organized and personable.
Our boat got to snorkel first, which made us the first snorkelers of the day, with the best chance of seeing the green sea turtles at the edge of the reef. We all donned the mandatory life vests (although we were allowed to use the two snorkeling vests we'd brought instead of their life vests) and our captain guided us along the reef and pointed out a moray eel and 7 turtles, many of whom who were lodged in crevasses but several of which were swimming right below us.
After the snorkel, we waded through the shallow water and went tidepooling on the exposed sand bar in the reef shoes we had thankfully brought with us. We were intrigued by all of the coral pink sea worms, which looked like alien life forms. It happened to be the lowest tide of the day while we were there, which we knew from checking the tide tables before booking.
The view of the dramatic Ko'olau Mountains from the shallow aqua waters of the sand bar was one of the best views we've enjoyed on any of the 5 Hawaiian islands we've visited. Relaxing and chatting with our wondeeful crew--Karen, Hannah and Captain Jeff--while enjoying the views was the highlight of our day!
