The best part of our tour was having Dugan as our guide. He gave us so much information about Portland. You could tell that he was proud to be from the area. We had a great time.

Our group enjoyed this tour. The guide was knowledgeable about the history of the area. He provided pictures so that we were able to visualize what the people and area looked like.

Sadly our experience did not align with others. Our guide seemed content to show us laminated pictures of things. Based on other reviews - other guides appear to be more engaging and interesting. We left after ~25-30 minutes - perhaps the best was yet to come but it was a very long start to the tour.

We had a lovely and informative two hour tour of Bar Harbour recently. Pace was manageable and enjoyable. Saw many spots we would have missed on our own.

Charlie was our favorite part. He answered our questions. Informative about the town and you can tell how passionate he is with his hometown. I appreciated Bar Harbor more after learning her history

This was a great tour. The tour guide was Charlie, descended from original settlers on the island. He had a great grasp of the history and shared it interestingly. He gave us samples of a local soft drink named Moxie and a local Candy.

Fun and informative walking tour of Bar Harbor. Lots of fun facts and also some tasty treats - “Needham” and”Moxie” soda. Charlie us an excellent tour guide!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour today. Randy was incredibly knowledgeable and so enthusiastic about the history of this area. We learned so much, enjoyed the beautiful scenery, and truly were transformed back in time to the Bar Harbor of yesteryear through the fascinating stories Randy told us. Additionally, he shared some local treats with us. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this tour with Randy!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour on Friday, October 23rd. The tour guide was knowledgable and informative, including inside tips on local restaurants. Well worth it!

I have a granddaughter who is 11 and lives in Belgium....so she is used to walking and is extremely well-mannered so she would not be disruptive...could she go on the tour?
