We had a lot of fun on this city tour! #1- Our driver & tour guide Dave was super nice and very informative. We liked the personal aspects of the tour. #2- The places & sites we drove by were all really good! #3- LOVED the vintage VW van! So cool! It was really fun to be in the first group to tour in the newest van in the fleet, Stardust. I do wish we could have gotten out more than just twice. It was a short tour to pack in a full experience of the city. However, we would not have been able to pay more for each ticket. The $85 ticket price for two hours was at our limit. All in all it was a great time, and we are super glad we went on it! Also, I am glad we were with a really nice family on this cozy tour.

Our guide gave us a great tour through lots of neighborhoods. He knew San Francisco so well. Very worthwhile! Highly recommend.

Excellent experience. Went on the early tour, little traffic, great guide, very informative and entertaining. I would 100% recommend. Do this on your first day so you can plan the rest of your trip out.

A really great destination. Easy to get around, although sometimes the terraine is a little steep (especially for a 70+ couple) but we did it. So much to see and do. Even experienced a Waymo (electric driverless car). What an experience! Seven days of total adventure Golden Gate, Alcatraz, Lombard Street, Bay cruises, Hop Off Hop On Busses, Almo Square and the painted ladies and much much more. Would love to start planning a return trip real soon.

The tour covered well the essential views, places and athomospheres of San Fransisco. The lovely car, VW Kleinbus, was an admiration to pedestrians, so we waved and made peace signs to people on the street, with 1960s music coming from our car. Really made all smile. The driver Terry was well informed and had good stories about SF history. Really a relaxed, good-humoured and informative start to a SF visit.

Wow this was cool! If you really want to see and feel the heart and soul of San Francisco look no further than this tour! Our guide Christina was awesome!! She loves this city so much that it brings her so much joy to share it with others and that’s what sets this apart from any other tour company! I’ve done tours all over the world, but Christina was so genuine and enthusiastic! The vans are amazing and exude the carefree vibe of a bygone era! This is a an absolute must!!

Wow - what an exciting day this turned out to be! Exploring San Francisco courtesy of Love Tours and our guide for the day Tara. Anyone can take the larger tourist City Bus Tours for sure, but these type of tours are limited to where you really want to go due to the size of the bus - why do this when you can do more for the same cost? Love Tours uses their VW camper vans to explore the city in smaller group sizes (8 person max per van). Not only that but you have your own personal guide - the person in the driving seat who you can directly ask a question too. Don't cut yourself short by going with the sheeple masses on the big City Bus Tours - get on the Love Tour instead and experience the real San Francisco! I have created a video of our experience - should anyone wish to view it please feel free to DM me!

We will have a 18 month old toddler with us. Can we bring his car seat and use that in the van? Do I need to book a ticket for him or would he be free?

You would have to contact the tour people directly. However, the transport is a very old VW transporter so it won’t have proper baby seat fixing points. Personally I wouldn’t take a baby on this trip it’s more suited to adults.
