We had a great time! The Armstrong State Park was beautiful and the two wineries were a perfect taste of the wine country. All the stops were informative and not too long or too short. Just right. Really glad we made this tour.

Really good day with great guides who were very knowledgeable, thorough and keen to give us a good experience which they did! Went to quieter out of the way places which were great. . Thank you Phil, Steve and Victor for all your efforts. Would really recommend this tour.

I cannot tell you how much I recommend this tour. My friend and I visited San Francisco from the East Coast and this is THE tour to do. Phil is such and amazing guide- he’s informative, funny, nice, respectful, and all around great guy.

Our guide, Steven, was fabulous! He was an excellent driver and a knowledgeable foodie who gave us tips for SF restaurants. We started our tour with an hour and a half walk through the redwoods, which were breathtaking and so quiet. The deer came out for nibbles. Then we went to the charming Hook and Ladder winery for an Al fresco lunch and extensive tasting. Kelly, our server, was very knowledgeable. I loved the Pinot and champagne. Kendall Jackson was stunning, and Steven even took us through their culinary garden, which was so cool. The pairings of wines exclusively available at the vineyard were interesting and tasty. The outdoor table was perfect for taking it all in. We ended with a stop at the most scenic little spot for a terrific view of the city and Steven took a photo of us with the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a wonderful day and an memory making experience not to be forgotten.

My original booking was canceled due to lack of participants. Phil contacted me and could rebook me last minute on this earlier tour.
I joined without knowing much about the itinerary.
I’m so happy I did! Was a great day.
The redwood forest without the crowd was just amazing.
The wine testing especially the first smaller Sonoma one was simply a magical experience.

We had so much fun on this tour. We visited the Armstrong Redwoods park which was uncrowded and beautiful. Our wine tour included a four course wine pairing at Kendall Jackson which was spectacular! Having participated in many tours throughout our travels, we can attest to the fact that the tour guide makes or breaks the experience. There was no exception in this case. Our guide Phil was fantastic!! He was knowledgeable without being overbearing, and he provided great music during our travel time. He was prompt for pickup and accommodating during drop off. I left my sweater on the bus after the tour and he even went to the trouble of dropping it off at our hotel the next morning...THAT IS SERVICE!! Great job Best Bay Area Tours and make sure you hang on to Phil!

We had a great time on this tour. The Armstrong Forest was the best way to see the Redwoods without the crowds! The two wineries we visited were different but both great experiences. A box lunch was included which was very good. Phil, our tour guide and driver was very knowledgeable. When he wasn't talking he was playing great music. I would highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide Brian met me with a smile and from the outset was talking us through everything we saw along the way, different sites in San Francisco, in Marin County, in the Russian River County. He's breadth of knowledge was amazing and he treated us really well. The setting of the wineries was beautiful, we had a delicious picnic lunch and tasty wine with friendly and knowledgable staff. We visited Armstrong Woods which was beautiful and peaceful. A fantastic day out.

This excursion was so much fun. Phil, our guide and driver was great. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. The redwoods were awesome and it was definitely worth travelling a bit further to have so much peace to admire them. The 2 vineyards were very different but both equally enjoyable. And the people in our group were lovely which just topped the day off. I would highly recommend this tour.
